2 rooms booked for 2 nights. Arrived late. So went for a meal first.... what can I say but first the steak came out on a sizzling plate with a plastic steak knife melting to it. Only offered a different knife as replacement. Colleagues meal left a lot to the imagination... beans that had probably sat in a microwave for... More

Booked a night at The Bridge Inn as a last minute break on a long journey. At just £35 for a double room it's a total bargain. A large comfortable room with tv, kettle etc etc. No frillls, but perfectly adequate in all respects. Great to be able to just walk downstairs for a meal and drinks. VERY reasonably priced... More

I see a lot of negative reviews here, what many of them may not be clear about is that it's very cheap, honestly I was going to bristol for 2 nights and this came up as the cheapest hotel in the bristol area.. so I booked it! I didn't expect much for the price but it was fine, it was... More

Lovely setting next to the Rive Wye, with its own private parking. Great food in an intimate setting. Called in for lunch which was delicious and well priced. Friendly service. Also well positioned as a base for river walks, boating etc.

We popped in here for a meal with the kids and found it to be very good. I am surprised at the negative reviews as the food we had was very cheap and tasted fine for a low cost pub. The kids meals were fine and they were able to use the play area safely. Staff were friendly. A note... More

Visited this restaurant - Hungry Horse at Bridge Inn on Saturday 13th December with a group of friends for a Christmas celebration. People waited 2 1/2 hours for their food. The establishment knew exactly how many people were coming and exactly what they had ordered to eat. They didn't seem to care less about us. Have to say we travelled... More

Staff are unhelpful , rude and miserable. Managers don't seem to be any different. On first impressions the restaurant appears to be a nice quiet local but it is blantantly being used as a local drug dealing spot. Even more alarming is the fact that a children's play area is linked to the main eating area. Food was cold and... More

This is an awful place to stay, in the first room the bathroom was disgusting, the shower looked liked it had never been cleaned and the wall had been very poorly whitewashed, moved to another room and the carpets are stained, in reception area there dead spiders and cobwebs, don't think they have a decent cleaner, I stay in hotels... The bridge inn has improved the interior to make it a comfortable enviroment to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The menu has a varied choice for not a high cost and my experience has been to have good food for a very good price ,the service has always been very good with staff polite and pleasant.
