My husband and I were lucky enough to be married at Allington Manor on Saturday 29th October 2011. We had spotted the venue on the internet listed amongst places to marry in Lincolnshire. Being only a short drive from our home in Grantham, we decided to pay a visit and talk to Leo about what we would like to do.... More

Having purchased a voucher through Groupon for afternoon tea and a glass of champagne we arrived on Valentines Day. The service was food and tea was excellent. After tea the owenr showed us around. The hotel and location is secluded yet only a few miles from the A1. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a step back... More

What a place, Its so worth the visit. We had afternoon tea in a place of so much interest & very much to see. Lovely, lovely owners, who could not have treated us any better, gave us (a group of 4) a tour of thier fantastic hotel, everthing finished with such taste & the WOW WOW factor, a must for... More

Allington Manor is a 17th century house steeped in history, set in Lincolnshire. We chose it as the venue for our wedding in June 2011(sorry it's taken so long to write the review!) because of the exquisite bedrooms, the possibility to have an intimate service and the beautiful gardens in which we held our wedding breakfast and reception drinks. We... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here the night before last. We are not the typical B&B type, being students at University and therefore considerably younger than Allington Manor are used to I can assume! It was lovely, the food was excellent and the service was wonderful, as students we can sometimes be brushed to the side but this didn't happen... More

We got married back in April, and had our meal and evening reception at Allington Manor (sorry it's taken so long to write our review!!!). It is a fantastic place, has a great atmosphere and Leo is so helpful, it all combined to make our big day really special. The gardens and the house itself offer no shortage of photo... More

Stayed for two nights in the Lords Room whilst attending a wedding elsewhere (Nov 18/19) . The room overlooked the entrance drive and was spacious and very comfortable. Both Leo and Kate made us very welcome and fed our interest in the history of the manor, the ongoing renovation and it's contents. The village itself is interesting with many old... More

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay in October, warm welcome and very relaxing. Stayed in the 'Lords Room', spacious and comfortable, the candles added atmosphere! Lots of antique items around the house. Breakfast tasty, delicious bread. Plenty to see in area, especially National Trust houses. Will go back there! Book direct with hotel web-site, offers! More

Can't praise it highly enough. Ecellent food, service, atmosphere and every possible comfort in the rooms. We were 2 friends in a room each, and both found the house and its contents fascinating, and Leo most welcoming and helpful. We definitely plan to return. I would advise anyone going to events at Arena UK to stay here rather than travel. More

We just had a one night stay and had an attic room which was very comfortable. The house is very interesting and Leo was very helpful and friendly. We had an excellent breakfast - one of the best in a long time. We will return!! More
