Fabulous overnite ,staff, food and pub lovely. We were there on a groupon voucher but would willingly pay full price. All staff made you feel you were the only people there in a very busy pub, breakfast amazing.

This hotel/pub/restaurant is the most welcoming establishment I have stayed in and the fresh flowers were a nice touch that show a care for detail. All the staff are helpful and friendly, the food is excellent, reasonable priced with an extensive menu and a daily specials board; breakfast is also well prepared and caters for all tastes. The pub has... More

Enjoyed a quiet night here with the Mrs & our puppy spaniel! Very friendly staff & locals made to feel welcome even with a crazy puppy! Sunday lunch was nice, & breakfast excellent, would like to try some other meals on the menu. Black sheep on tap always a bonus! We will come back I'm sure!

We had an overnight stay for a Christmas present. We went with my brother and his wife and had a lovely day and evening. The hotel is ran by two of my former pupils (from some time ago) who didn't know we were coming. If we hadn't known them it wouldn't have made any difference, the welcome would have been... More

Good menu, pleasant staff, great comfort food, good atmosphere all at a reasonable price. What more do you want? Good beer I hear you say - well you get that as well. Pub is a little bit out of the way but well worth the visit.

Great place and fantastic staff everyone was so friendly. Food absolutely perfect everything home cooked. the room was cosy yet comfortable and spotless. Definately return again. not a lot surrounding the Inn but Morpeth only 9 miles away which is a lovely market town with varied shops and very cheap parking

What a joy it was to stay at the Anglers Arms. We were looked after really well by all the staff, and the food - which I expected to be OK - exceeded my expectations, not to mention the size of my stomach. Order the sweet potato fries - they're fantastic! The room we had had been nicely refurbished, was... More

I visited last year with a wedding party, and had a wonderful lunch so I though I would visit again with my Mother. We had a spectacular meal and were lucky enough to arrive as the table in front of the roaring log fire was free. Black pudding starter and mixed grill was almost comical as it's so large, served... Me and my Partner visited the Anglers Arms after staying at a local hotel in the area and fancied eating out somewhere less formal. Although we arrived pretty late and almost close to last orders for food the staff were still so lovely and welcoming and didn't rush us at all. It was so cosy and comfortable with the fire... More

Unbeatable for comfort and a homely atmosphere.Visited on a wintry day to be greeted with a roaring fire and a warm welcoming staff as usual.the meals are first class and there is plenty of choice.it would be a pity for anybody visiting Northumberland to miss this place
