Stayed here as third night stop over when walking Hadrians Wall. Very clean, very comfortable and owners very accommodating. The comfortable communal lounge is a real bonus. Bunk rooms are well designed and space is acceptable.

Paula is a fine hostess and her bunkhouse on a working farm is very clean and modern. The rooms are large and much nicer than your normal bunkhouse or hostel and includes use of the kitchen. This is listed as a modern farm hostel and it really is; from the cozy living room with fireplace to the modern bedroom. Bathroom facilities are shared but there is plenty of room and privacy so it did not feel like we were sharing with others. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance of the hostel.

7 of us stayed here on our first night walking along Hadrians Wall. Paula was very accommodating even though this was a working farm and it was the lambing season. Good breakfast, tv room with log burner fire, clean rooms.
