I have been visiting the North East for the past 20 years and this hotel golf complex is outstanding. Set in the University sports grounds every aspect is a totally enjoyable experience. We have gained so many good and positive experiences from Close House we have just booked my sons wedding there although we live in Mersyside.

Just had lunch here. Three courses for £16.95. The food was outstanding , service was prompt and the staff are very helpful and treat you like royalty. Well worth a trip. The setting is stunning and the hotel is beautiful
