Staff always very pleasant and helpful from the cleaners to the management. Food excellent. The area beautiful. Certainly recommended and hopefully we will return.Did not use spa facilities so cannot comment on these.

Stayed for a lovely weekend may 2012. Our room overlooked the Derwent valley. It was a bit of a trek from reception, but benefitted by being quiet even with two weddings underway. We stayed here on Friday 18th May.Had a meal and drinks in the bar which was lovely.We always feel relaxed here and that is why we always come back. Breakfast was nice.The new toaster is good!
