Certainly concentrated on food at the expense of an all round good experience. Having said this breakfast was inferior to most hotels we've stayed in. We needed a short break - was it the Peak District or Northumberland? Northumberland was the winner and so is the Barrasford Arms. Just had a lovely overnight stay at the Barrasford Arms. Our double room was light & airy with two lovely sash windows and was elegantly furnished. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and efficient and the food was absolutely top notch! Will definitely recommend and return. more
