Thoroughly enjoyable evening - very friendly bubbly waitress and chef, attentive and jolly, good menu choices which were delicious. We were all thrilled with the evening meal celebrating a birthday. Good value, would highly recommend The Fox. Sue Taylor

Very quaint, very small converted rooms in an old stable block. The rooms themselves were very clean and the bathroom was spotless. We really appreciated the bottled water, selection of hot drinks and biscuits that were available in the room. The bedding was clean and the décor was very nice. A really snuggly, cosy place to rest our weary heads... More

Didn't stay over just went for a meal. Was very tasty pork a little dry and chips not so good but the rest of the food was delicious. Staff always friendly and attentive. The pub itself has a lovely feel to it. Overall very enjoyable. Was sat a a table with comfortable chairs but wouldn't say appropriate dining chairs. I... More

We were greeted by a friendly man and shown to our room which was converted stables which had been done tastefully. Man was very relaxed about our check out time in the morning and told us to put keys in the letterbox. Did however take the money straight away. Do take slippers as bathroom floor freezing. Modest basket of tea... More

Great food with excellent service. Nice to see lots of local produce used and its all very tasty. Table service was efficient and freindly. Strongly advise you book as its very popular even in autumn - good pub will probably visit agian with relation who live close by

This was a last minute reservation for my fiancée and I as we had an early start this morning at Silverstone. The pub and accommodation is situated just a 20 minute drive from the race course so the location is perfect. We arrived at 9:15pm and upon entering the pub we were greeted by a very friendly and hospitable young... More

Lovely pub, when the food came out the portions looked a little on the small side but the food was lovely and left feeling full. We didn't stay at The Fox but popped in for some dinner, if the decor in the pub is anything to go by, the rooms would be lovely too!

Great country pub, super team that work there, a marvellous weekend away. Room rate was a little high and the rooms are a little snug however on Moto GP weekend it was marvellous to find a room available. The whole place was a peach. Thanks to Tom and team.

My partner came to do a skydive down the road from the fox and as we are not from around here it would be easier to stay. The rooms themselves are quite small and are only quickly cleaned over, for example the skirtings, curtains and sides of the bed are covered in dust, there was mould all over the shower... More

Had lunch here with a friend and this was our first visit. Once again I had read most of the reviews on Tripadvisor and as is often the case, the negative ones were from over a year ago. When we drove up we were impressed with the exterior of the property and the care taken with the garden and parking... More
