We wanted somewhere close to Monkey World. The room was small but cosy with twin beds. Matt was very helpful and made us very welcome. We would stay there again but hope for better weather. My husband had the cooked breakfast but it's not something I can eat so had cereal and toast, orange juice and tea.

Clean and perfect location for Monkey World and a 5 minute walk round the corner to the Black Bear pub for an evening family meal. If needed the railway station again is a 5 minutes walk from door to door. A good breakfast served by Matt at a large table with another guest between us all it was friendly to... More

Excellent location for Monkey World which is why we chose it. Located on street directly opposite the train station and it cost £6 each way in a taxi to Monkey World from here. The room was very clean. Old fashioned decor and bedding made for a cosy feel. Comfy bed - had two great nights sleep. Matt the owner was... More

Located near the railway station this B&B was good value for money the breakfast was full English and Matt was willing to accommodate any reasonable requests. The rooms were as you would expect from a B&B comfortable and very adequate for the price. The location was good for Monkey World and the Tank Museum and near the station and local... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this nice, simple, friendly B&B. Convenient location, centre of the lovely village with railway station, shops and pubs within easy walking distance. We came to visit Monkey world which was great. Matt's breakfast was fab and nothing was too much trouble. A great host, with a cracking sense of humour, felt like we were... More

Matt the owner was arrogant and rude, came round extremely early in the morning knocking on the door. Food was ok but did not make up for the service. The area that the B&b is in is nice, not a lot to do for children.

Matt the owner was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. His service was of a very high standard: our room was clean, comfortable and great to relax in after a long day of visiting the local attractions, Lulworth Cove and Durdle door (which are very close and easy to get to), and we were served with a freshly cooked English breakfast...
