I used to stay at the Loftsome Bridge on business quite frequently and on a couple of occasions also came up from Surrey with my wife to stay. As the hotel is often busy, when on business I used to ensure that I could get a room first and then advise everyone else on the date for site meetings. However,... More

We stay at Loftsome Bridge four or more times a year .. usually Thursday through to Sunday. We are always welcomed with a friendly face and cheerful greeting. Nothing is too much trouble (you only have to ask). Breakfast is a delight .. full English through to continental options are always available .. the full English is cooked to order... More

Just returned from an overnight stay at this delightful hotel whilst attending a wedding in Selby. We had a very warm welcome and the rooms we had were so clean, comfortable and basically great! Large well equipped room with an equally large bathroom with plenty of toiletries. The grounds were lovely and well kept but unfortunately we did not have... More

A challenge to find with the satnav, which took us to the water treatment plant across the road. We were not the first to have this problem it seems, if it happens to you turn around, turn right at the T junction and the green sign on your left points the way to the hotel. The hotel itself is lovely,... More

Visited here as a party of eight to celebrate my wife's Birthday with friends and family. Everyone was impressed with the splendid entrance and we were soon seated in the hotel with menus and drinks. Splendid choice of food delayed ordering and the wine list was extensive and very reasonable. Before we knew it we were escorted through to the... More

We stayed for one night and had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast the following morning. The hotel is easy to find and we stayed in one of the cottages. Unfortunately it was pouring down when we arrived so we didn't linger around the pretty courtyard and pond, we were treated by a lovely lady and made to... More

Nestling alongside the tranquil River Derwent lies Loftsome Bridge Coaching House. Dating back to 1782, the Coaching Inn as it was known, offered food and shelter to travellers for more than a century. It then became a working farm and guest house.
