This place is a real find - fantastic food, friendly staff and great location. Giggleswick is a 15 minute walk away where there are places to eat and cosy pubs and Settle is not far away too. The food is fantastic, top quality and very well presented. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also brilliant and fresh organic... More

Had Sunday dinner here and it was very good. Huge portions, lots of flavour and very reasonably priced. There was that much with the main course we weren't sure if we would manage the dessert. But we glad we did as it was so tasty. Friendly staff too.

We arrived after dark, and found the hotel very easily, we were welcomed and shown to our room. The room was in a converted barn and was clean and comfortable and the ensuite had underfloor heating. We ate in the restaurant and were really impressed by the level of service and the amazing food. Breakfast was great too. A very... More

We had stayed at the Craven Arms in August and unfortunately had an issue with our room. Nick, the owner went out of his way to offer us a return visit, on the house. We managed to get a night away in October and headed across to the Giggleswick. As it happened, we were staying in the same room we... More

We had three nights here in this beautiful part of the world, and coming from a Lancastrian that's praise indeed. Our room was comfortable. modern and the bathroom had underfloor heating which was cool (well warm really). But the outstanding thing really was the food, locally sourced produce and delivered by attentive and knowledgeable staff. If you go, try the... More

With the Craven Arms, I did not read the cancellation policy carefully and it is one of the very rare hotels situated off the beaten track that insist on 14 days notice and take 100% of the booking if you cancel within this period. As soon as we have been told that my grandson's tournament was shortened, we advised the... More

Stopped for lunch at this amazing Yorkshire Pub. Great food and ale. Easy parking and fantastic countryside. Staff were great as it was very busy but they found us a table. Very traditional with open fires and lots of interesting signs and other artifacts. Extensive menu. Would recommend the fish and chips or sausage and mash. Very popular with walkers... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at here for three weeknights. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who was really friendly and were introduced to his 11 month old St. Bernard, Pennie who was even friendlier! We stayed in room 7 which had lovely views especially on a clear morning. On the first evening we had a meal... More

Our stay at the Craven Arms was overall very enjoyable and we intend to return next year. We arrived early afternoon the restaurant was still quite full with lunchtime diners which was a good sign. The bar and restaurant areas are really homely, light and airy. We were welcomed by a friendly girl and shown to our room. The room... More
