We were camping close by and were going to go into Settle for an evening meal. We saw The Black Horse advertising board by the roadside and decided to go to Giggleswick instead. Very glad we did. It has parking at the rear but bit of a tight squeeze if you have a large car. Had to park a few... More

Visited for just one evening after a great day hiking nearby. We were looking for a place to eat and chose here after a brief phone call and question about closing time. Our Host was good fun all evening and the food was very good! What more could we ask? It was great!

We dropped in here for a few drinks. All of the staff are really friendly and the beer is cheap. Great atmosphere, locals playing dominoes is funny to watch. They serve food but we did not partake, looked good though We will return

Friendly place, good food and drink, in a nice location and we will use this place again. The food is good basic pub food, the beers range from TimothyTaylors and guest bitters, a couple of decent largers and a good selection of wines. Parking at the back of the hotel is a bit of a squeeze to drive in so dont... More

Dropped in here on a Saturday evening for tea. Pub is set in the heart of the village next to a church. Beautiful location and surrounding scenery. Pub is very homely and traditional in style with copper trinkets all around. Landlord is very attentive and came over to us for a chat and asked us where we were from and... More

lovely and picturesque tucked in the corner by the old church in a beautiful little village. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly didn't eat there or stay but enjoyed a lovely evening with a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be going there again.

We had the perfect break here. The landlord and family staff were wonderfully friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was good no nonsense fare well cooked and presented. We can only envy the villagers who have this great pub on their doorstep,
