We only went to the lodge for lunch but it was a lovely meal in a gorgeous setting with good service. I particularly liked the rustic touches such as having my starter served on a wooden board! The staff were very helpful & brought plates erc for the birthday cake we'd brought for my son .... Would definitely visit again!

You will be impressed with the standard of The Lodge, as it is marketed as a pub with rooms. You just don't expect the rooms to be 5 star in design, comfort and cleanliness. We stayed at the Hotel for one nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast in the Garden Shed Room on 31st Apr 2012. The whole package was first class, a very well managed Hotel with very attentative staff. stunning accomodation and beautifull food. Looking forward to returning soon.
