I was staying with a group of friends, we were shown to our pitch then left to our own devices. The pitches are quite large and we were quite near the facilities. The number of toilets/showers are not enough for the size of the site and no matter what time we used them the floor was flithy and there was... More

Nice clean, well maintained site! The weather was absolutely fantastic! So we used the pool to maximum use! Traveled with small kids, so even better for them! Would definitely return as its only 2 hour drive for us! Keep up the good work guys!

We spent 2 nights here during half term. The weather was not great so the pool was not really an option. (I think you would feel better about paying the campsite prices if you got use of the pool!!) On the last day the kids did try it out And had fun, although cold!! Yew tree is a small friendly... More

We stayed here for two nights bank holiday weekend. It was our first trip away in our trailer tent so wanted to stay local. Lovely site, manager helpful in showing us our pitch and how best to set up. Good showers/toilet block and although it was basic our three year old enjoyed the play park. Too early for the pool... Just came back from a bank holiday stay. We went as two families and had a great stay. The weather was warm so the kids made full use of the outdoor swimming pool. The site is very clean and the owners very welcoming. There is not much there and you will need to travel out by car to local shops.... More

A nice, shelterd campsite. It appeard popluar with people stopping over to see Canterbury for a day or two on their way to the Dover ferry ports. Toilets, showers and pool all very clean, although showers cramped and coin operated. An excellent CAMRA pub just two minutes from the site and a farm shop a short drive away. The location... More

I would describe this as a simple but nice campsite with all the basic amenities you might wish for. Clean, everything well maintained, and with a good swimming pool for when the weather is warm. The owners are welcoming and there is a pub on the corner. You are some distance from a shop however. If there was one criticism,... More

A clean and tidy campsite only 30 min or so from the ferries/tunnel. The staff (owners?) in reception were friendly and informative and the price in May 13 was quite reasonable. There is no barrier so you can come and go as you please. Easy access to Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay. We will definitely use again.

We stayed at the Yew Tree Park over Easter 2012 and found the park really clean, tidy and in great settings. We got there to find that we had been upgraded from a caravan to a cabin, which we were shown around straight away. The cabin was really roomy, had everything you could need, and was very warm and cosy.... More
