Good service, lots of choice. Decent sized portions. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Would definitely eat here again. Although we had 4 children it wasn't really geared for families. Saying that, there were several choices of childrens meals on the menu. Food- I would give 5 stars but nothing for the kids to do inside or out so had to deduct... More

We stayed here as a stopover before continuing our journey to Belgium. The bedrooms are in a lodge the other side of the carpark which was secure and rooms were nice although if you're tall you might want to ask for a room downstairs as the sloping ceilings could be difficult. We ate in the restaurant, the food was lovely... More

Stayed overnight prior to a local family wedding. Very friendly staff. The rooms are set back from the road so very quiet. We had four rooms booked. Perfect for a short stay in this part of Kent. We had our evening meals and breakfast in the Evenhill pub situated on the main road and were very satisfied.

My wife and I enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Evenhill whilst holidaying in the UK. We arrived in the afternoon after spending the day visiting Canterbury and other local attractions. We received a friendly greeting from the reception staff and were shown to our room. The hotels rooms are located at the rear of the Evenhill's property and... More

Absolutely can't fault Evenhill. Would definitely stay again and will be recommending it to family and friends. The rooms are well equipped, very clean and lovely en-suite. As the guest rooms are in a barn conversion, there is no noise from the pub or restaurant. The food at dinner and breakfast was lovely - great choice and hearty portions. We... More

Set just out side Canterbury this is the perfect place to stay to explore Kent. The accommodation is set in a new build behind the pub and has plenty of parking right outside you door. They cater for dogs and your furry friend can sit with you in the bar whilst you have your meals, and there is even a... More

Room was fine but a little small for 2. Bed and bathroom clean and comfortable. Thin walls mean neighbouring room noise is audible but not intrusive. Breakfast very good . Friendly and helpful stff who didn't miss a beat when we arrived early but still managed to have our room early.

I have now stayed 3 times whilst on business in Canterbury. This is a great combination of a Pub with an excellent restaurant (especially the Steaks and Sausages) and rooms in a separate building at the back. The quality of the rooms is first class...but best of all is the welcome from the owners. The service is flexible and responsive.The... More

We turned up early, never expecting to check-in early. However, they checked the room availability and, although they weren't yet ready, they gave us a room number so that we could allocate food to our bill, before checking-in. The staff were all very friendly and the food in the restaurant was first class. A very comfortable night's sleep and everything... More
