In the village of littlebourne lies a little gem of a pub with accommodation in a separate building away from any noise and bustle, just a few steps away across the car park. Very quaint and very friendly. The food served in the evening was great. A beautiful and ornate interior with plenty of beams, wooden floors and staircases. A... More

Very warm welcome made us feel at home. It was unfortunate that we found leftover food from the last guest in our room and biscuit crumbs on the bedside table. The room needed a good dust. Apart from that it was fine for our three nights although some modernisation needed. Breakfasts were good, cooked to order with plenty of cereals... More

Nice reception from staff when we arrived. Good location - not too far from the busy streets of Canterbury, but far enough for some peace and quiet. Room was clean and comfortable. The heater in our room was noisey. Breakfast wasn't great (I'm basing my views on the hundreds I have had before). I was all set for the traditional,... More

Stayed 2 nights attending local wedding and had a lovely experience. The service was friendly warm and welcoming. The accommodation separate from the pub frontage in a beautifully converted barn setting was ideal being both quiet and well appointed with good facilities. Had an excellent meal in the pub on Friday night in pleasant surroundings and an equally good snack... More

We popped in for a drink and found the service good, the beer was good ( was the whole idea of going there in the first place) the atmosphere was good although there were only a handful of people in the pub. It has been decorated since I was last there ( which was many years ago) the bar staff... More

We stayed overnight with friends and booked 3 rooms. Me and my parents stayed in a family room and we were amazed by the standard of the accommodation. Everything you could want for a stay somewhere. The staff were lovely and made sure we were all right. In the evening my family went for a meal in their restaurant. The... More

It is the little things that make Evenhill stand out as a great place to stay from a great welcome by the manager and staff to the selection of biscuits and the wonderful toiletries that adorn the bathroom. Yes, the decor and furnishings are close to being 'tired' but the service is not and nothing makes you feel anything but... More

We booked this for an overnight stay with some friends from France. Communication with the owners was good, and they were fine with our friends' rabbit staying in the room (we found that the hotel is also dog-friendly, which is good to know). On arrival we were taken to the rooms by the owner - the rooms are in a... More

Good service, lots of choice. Decent sized portions. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Would definitely eat here again. Although we had 4 children it wasn't really geared for families. Saying that, there were several choices of childrens meals on the menu. Food- I would give 5 stars but nothing for the kids to do inside or out so had to deduct... More

We stayed here as a stopover before continuing our journey to Belgium. The bedrooms are in a lodge the other side of the carpark which was secure and rooms were nice although if you're tall you might want to ask for a room downstairs as the sloping ceilings could be difficult. We ate in the restaurant, the food was lovely... More
