We booked a 2 night stay at a reasonable price for B&B. We were given a family room which was quite big with a good lay out. The room was well equipped with a double and 2 singles. Bed was comfortable and warm with nice quality pillows and bedding. There were plenty of spare pillows. The room has air conditioning... More

My company has been working in Canterbury since December and I have stayed at the Evenhill a few times when visiting site. I have also had many of my contractors staying on a regular basis and both myself and my workforce are always delighted with the rooms and the service here. The owner Fred Perry is very attentive and always... More

Rooms are not huge but are good and clean. Dogs are welcome. You can hear some noise from adjoining rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. The pub is lovely. The only thing that let it down really was the food. The presentation was good but the pork belly was so overcooked that I couldn't even eat the crackling and the... More

Stopped here for a night whilst visiting daughter in canterbury. Accommodation is a large barn conversion away from the pub. our room was comfortable and had all mod cons. Walls were a little thin as we could hear the people next door (or maybe they were just really loud) get up at 5.00am! But other than that, breakfast was nice... More

Opting for The Evenhill due to our usual hotels being full, I'm happy to report a very positive feedback. Our room was well decorated, clean and very well furnished. The staff were helpful and afforded a cheerful welcome to my party. The breakfast menu was balanced and the full english well cooked and presented. Well done The Evenhill, I'll certainly... More

Wow. We wished we could stay longer. Super clean and super helpful staff. Nice room, comfy bed and handy for visiting canterbury. We also ate in the restaurant and had one of the best pub meals you could wish for. Book in without delay.

Our family of four stayed at the Evenhill for three nights in October 2014. We found it to be an excellent lodging, pub, and location for exploring Canterbury and other places in Kent. Since it is located a few miles outside of town the traffic is not as heavy and parking is easy. It is convenient to city center car... More

On the outskirts of Canterburyt. You need to drive to Canterbury as its a few miles out but this meant it was peaceful. Plenty of parking and good clean rooms. Great pub with upstairs dining for room also. The food was fantastic! Freshly cooked, well presented and a little different in that veg were not just the usual carrots and... More

We stayed 1 night as a stop over on the way to Belgium. The rooms are warm, clean, with generous tea and coffee facilities (hate those places which only have the ability for one cup per person). The pub serves Shepard Neame which was well kept. The menu is a mix of classic pub grub and more 'upmarket' dishes, which... More
