We had the school room for a week, which is a large room with a large en-suite and a large window with a great view as well as a large balcony. Fiona and Mark are welcoming hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were really good and it was all capped of with brilliant sunshine all week. We booked... More

We had a really pleasant stay at Homelea. Fiona and Mark were really nice. Picking us up and dropping us off at the train station and even giving us a lift into Canterbury with them. They also recommended some great pubs in the local area which served great food. If you do stay here you should visit The Chapter Arms... More

I'm not meant to, but I can't help it, what the other folk said is true! On arrival at Chilham Fiona collected us from the train station,we were made to feel very welcome, all the local stuff was explained to us, we were aloud to come and go as we wanted which was great as we didn't have a car.... Stayed here for three nights and would gladly have stayed longer. The accommodation was excellent in every way and generously proportioned. We had the Kingfisher room which had a balcony off the bathroom (with a couple of chairs) and a lovely view. The breakfast was excellent quality with lots of choice. In addition to all of this, its best asset... More

A comfortable room, decorated to a high standard. We loved the touch control on the bedside lamps. We were only at Homelea for one night but will be visiting again if only to take advantage of the spa bath and enjoy the huge full English breakfast. Fiona works hard to give her customers the very best stay possible. On leaving... More

Had a lovely relaxing stay at this peaceful b&b. Fiona was very welcoming and we felt very well looked after. Great location for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. Wish we had stayed longer! The room was great and we even had a balcony to enjoy the sunshine.

Lovely place to stay with excellent hosts in a lovely location. The cleanliness was excellent as was the breakfast. Fiona and Mark were helpful even suggesting where to eat, dropping off and collecting us after our meal! The village of chilham is just down the road and would take 20 mins or so to walk, we drove as parked and... More

We stayed for 2 nights and felt immensely welcomed and looked after by the owners. The house and grounds are very scenic and beautiful and there are many country walking routes that you can take, very close to the hotel. Would recommend to any couple looking for a chilled out country break. The room and facilities were also fantastic, luxurious... More

My partner and I booked to stay here for a last-minute mini break this bank holiday. The owners were fabulously flexible when we called to let them know that we would be arriving later than anticipated. On arrival we received a warm and friendly welcome. Fiona provided us with a map and pointed out areas of local interest, recommended pubs,... More
