My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and I must say that it was lovely. We were given a free upgrade when we arrived which was a nice surprise although the room we had booked was great, we were more than happy to accept. The view from the school room was amazing! We had access to... More

My fiancé booked an overnight stay at Homelea for a surprise for my birthday..... When we arrived at Homelea on Saturday 29th March, we were very overwhelmed by how beautiful this B&B looked set in a stunning location with breathtaking view of its grounds and surrounding countryside....... We were greeted by Fiona and Mark, who are a very warm welcoming... More

My husband and I have just returned from a two night stay at Homelea. Fiona welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our beautiful room which had the real WOW factor. Fiona recommended a lovely Olde Worlde pub in the village of Chartham called The Artichoke for evening dinner and we were not disappointed. Homelea is the ideal base... More

I was meant to write this some time ago however I don't want to miss the opportunity to praise this peaceful and well-managed B&B. My girlfriend and I stayed with Fiona at Homelea...rather last minute...and found it charming, tranquil and friendly. Having never been to Canterbury before and always looking for new parts of the U.K. to explore, this was... More

An excellent bed and breakfast very close to Canterbury. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, the room we stayed in was superb with a marvellous view over the Kent countryside. We felt very relaxed in our excellent comfortable bedroom and slept soundly. The breakfast was lovely.

We stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Canterbury and had a really enjoyable experience : 1) Our room was probably twice the size of your typical upmarket hotel room with a bed in which we could comfortably have fitted several rugby players and still slept well due to the quality of the mattress (important to me, and to most people... We stayed here for 2 nights following a last minute decision to visit some family. As all the hotels I usually stay at were fully booked, we settled for this rather nice looking B&B. We stayed in the School room, which was very big, with a comfortable bed and a great view. It was very clean, the owner was pleasant... More

We enjoyed our stay at Homelea very much: the room was comfortable, the bathroom sizable (with a Jacuzzi) the hosts welcoming and the cooked breakfast very good. But we have not given it as high a rating as other guests as neither my husband nor I felt it was as luxurious as had been advertised and as it was priced.... More

Dear Natasha. I really appreciate the comments and time that has been taken to wright any review from guests. However the pillows are not tired for the fact there are bounce pillow (non allergic pillows representing feather) and soft foam pillows so that all requirements are met for the guests, but I do appreciate your comments. Decoration is always down... More
