Lovely room, great location and traditional village pub with open fire. But, menu too expansive and chef/cook/buyer not experienced enough. Olive platter starter - awful cheap bread, surely a bagette would suffice, cheap stuffed olives (5) and crusty old hummous. Chips from Iceland! Would stay again but would eat elsewhere.

We visited he woolpack for a family wedding. The Pub itself is nice with a good menu. However felt that the self contained family rooms in the annex were a bit pricey for the facilities. No Bath and one double bed ( the children using sofa bed / day bed).

We stayed here for a weekend and had a fantastic four poster bed room. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and roomy. It had a large bathroom too. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pub has a great atmosphere and the food was delicious and good value. We would definitely stay here again.
