The place is quiet inside and out with... More

First and last time I have stayed at the Travelodge. The room was dirty, but the bed linen was clean. The temperature was unbearable. There was a musty smell and piles of dirty laundry in the corridors.

I spent 4 nights there and wish I hadn't. Two of the three nights the reception area smelled heavily of cigarette smoke where staff had presumably been smoking, the same two nights the receptionist was on the phone whilst dealing with me and made no attempt to end the calls, which did not sound like business calls. One night the... More

Great helpful staff and lovely quiet wooded location, despite being on the main road. The decor is very tired, however, crying out for a refresh and new carpets. Super licensed cafe next door for dinner and breakfast with 10% off for guests.

Very Pleasant staff, Offering clean rooms and Comfy beds. Quiet wooded surroundings. Handy and reasonably priced café on site. Hotel a bit shabby, but not a problem for us. Finding the place was something of a challenge.. When refurbished it will become "Five Star" We would be happy to stay there again, as it is very handy for the channel... More

For a modest charge you will have a quite, clean bedroom for the night but that’s it. It is located hidden away in woods on the edge of a service station on the south side of the A2. Few redeeming features but it is close to Canterbury and in striking distance of Dover and the ferries. Hot food is available... More

This hotel is well hidden and at first sight it looks like it's closed but inside it's not so bad. Ok it does need tarting up but it had been cleaned it was quiet and has a nice cafe next door for food.

Our room was dirty, the television didn't work, there was no bar/restaurant, they charge for WiFi (and it was hopelessly slow), the shower pressure was non-existent, the room was very dark and the view was non-existent.
