Beautiful old building of character in beautiful surroundings close to the sea and beach. Lovely real fire in the hearth. Interesting layout with semi-private corners to sit in. Warm welcome from all staff encountered. Food was delicious- cannot fault the chef at all! visited for a meal while staying in Cromer. Would not have found this gem if we had... More

Paid £158 for one night double room, Nothing special at all, ,paper notice on the door "Mind the step as you enter the room" should say Steps, as there are two large steps to negotiate to get into the room. Wardrobe with a mirror inside the wardrobe door, unable to use unless you get in the wardrobe, you are unable... More

This place can't be faulted really. We have stayed here before and came again for a 2 night winer warner break. This is very good value as you'll see from the website. We stayed in Room 7 again ( the one with the large 4-poster and massive bathroom). There are 2 reasons for this repeat review from us. 1: there... More

As this establishment is in our local area we have not stayed there but have enjoyed dining at various functions and in the bar areas privately. The food is high quality, well presented and the service has been of the highest calibre and served in very attractive rooms whether in private dining rooms or in the lovely bar area. This... More

Found nothing to fault this beautiful old hotel. A room with a view, modern shower, deliciously comfortable bed, excellent food and until the very end we would have had nothing but praise for the staff. However as we checked out the two members of staff on the desk appeared to just go through the motions of taking our payment, no... More

We just arrived home after a 1 night stay at Sea Marge, as a New Year treat to ourselves. We've been previously for lunch, and also afternoon tea and I had always wanted to sleep there! Despite Saturdays weather being atrocious, we soon felt cosy in our lovely room overlooking the sea. Breakfast today was great and all in all,... More

Staying here currently and was so impressed with calibre of the food was compelled to give review straight away. Lovely old hotel. Very charming. Only complaint lack of info in bedrooms. Had to ask about breakfast times. Also they are advertising Murder mystery breaks in bedrooms which don't seem to exist but used to!
