We very much enjoyed the location of the Sea Marge hotel on a clifftop location in Overstrand near Cromer. The friendly staff were always helpful. The food was plentiful and reasonably priced. We had a very nice room with an excellent sea view. A very relaxing and peaceful place.

We had top floor room. 2 nights over this bank holiday weekend. Room basic small bathroom corner shower, very small. The beds were incredibly soft, very uncomfortable. We booked the evening 3 course meal which was lovely, although we were seated facing a wall, the table top wasn't secured & rocked all though out the meal, which was annoying. Afternoon... More

Visited for a bar meal on the last day of our holiday in Cromer. Whilst most of the food tasted fine, the chips with 'fish and chips' were few in number and not that hot and the 'Turkey and Chorizo pie with mash and carrots' consisted of a lot of flaky pastry and one, single, sad looking carrot. This meal... More

we were happily camping in Holt when the tail end of hurricane was supposed to come in, we'd had a pretty windy and rainy experience the night before so thought discretion was the better part of valour, especially with 2 young children and even if the night wasn't too bad taking a tent down in the rain isn't a great... Evening meal stop after a walk on the beach. Excellent food, well presented and good value. The beer, Wherry, was in good condition and a credit to the cellarman. Service was pleasant and efficient, the only hitch was an empty sauce jug delivered with my wife's dessert but this was soon rectified. The magnificent Baronial style bar, complete with minstrel's... We went back to Sea Marge last week for three nights with dinner. Once again the staff were really welcoming, efficient but friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and homely rather than modern. The shower was fabulous and there was always plenty of hot water. Breakfasts were plentiful , a true test for me is... More

I haven't stayed at Sea Marge, but have just visited for the first time. The overall impression was very good, especially the gardens and proximity to the sea. I went with a group of friends for afternoon tea on my birthday. The full tea is excellent value for money, service was good and the scones deserve special mention! Will definitely... More

This hotel has great character and lovely staff who are friendly and polite and make you feel at ease. The bar and terrace are great for a drink or meal with lovely gardens and views (but please clean out the water feature...) Our room was great with quality furnishings and comfortable beds. Very clean. Great attention to detail. We would... More

While on holiday we visited the Sea Marge by chance for lunch. We were impressed by the friendly but professional service of all the staff. The hotel ambience was perfect for a summer afternoon and it was lovely to walk in the garden after eating. The food was high quality and good value. We returned a further 3 times over... More

I took my mother for afternoon tea with my sisters for her birthday, when we arrive we were greeted at reception and told to make our way through to the bar where we would be served. We walked through to the bar and we weren't acknowledged for a good while even though we were the only customers in the bar,... More
