We spent 6 nights at Walindi in May 2013 which is one of the most beautiful places on the planet - picture a large bay with azure waters dotted with tiny, tropical islands and surrounded by volcanic mountains, some still smoking. Captain Gary instructed us in our advanced dive course and he is a wealth of knowledge as well as... More

Im just back in Sydney after spending a week at Walindi Plantation Resort. If you are looking for an INCREDIBLE diving experience in pristine waters, with dozens of different diving sites, coupled with very comfortable accomodation, all food, organised transfers, optional land tours, in a friendly, peaceful, and private environment, then I cannot recommend this place enough! Food: We took... More

I flew to Kimbe to have a relaxing week after working in PNG for a month. Walindi was the PERFECT escape - a great blend between relaxation, low stress, and amazing diving. If you are looking to have an incredible and top-notch dive experience, this is the place for you. Captain Gary and the crew of boys at the Walindi... More

I spent a wonderful 7 nights at Walindi in late April/early May. The bungalow accommodation, the setting, the service and the general ambience were excellent. The food was good, if a little bland. Max and Cecily Benjamin were wonderful hosts. Above all else the diving was sensational. The dive instructor, Capt. Gary Kulisek, was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. I learnt... More

My husband and I stayed at Walindi for 5 nights, with 3 days of diving including all equipment. Don’t worry yourself too much about the cost, PNG’s tourism is a work in progress, so accommodation is expensive everywhere! All the staff and management were wonderful and nothing was ever too much trouble. The PNG dive leaders that take you out... More

So glad we came. Diving was top-notch thanks to the efforts of Gary & his crew (and Alan of the FeBrina by putting in the mooring system). Gary is a treasure-trove of knowledge & experience - they are lucky to have him. His professionalism with regard to equipment care will pay dividends for Walindi in safety and excellence. Friendly and... More

We are just home from our holiday at the beautiful Walindi Plantation Resort and we had a wonderful time. The staff at Walindi was so friendly and obliging. We were always greeted with a smile and nothing was ever too much trouble. Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable, set amongst picturesque tropical gardens. The meals were fresh and delicious... Short: We loved it – especially Captain Gary Kulisek and his crew – cultured excellence and top service! Only minor minus: The food could be spiced up for our taste. Somewhat longer: We, a family with two kids aged 12 and 14, wanted to visit PNG for diving after we read about the treasures of Kimbe Bay in magazines. Travel... More

Having just finished a crash course in diving at home I knew just enough to be dangerous (to myself & others). Thanks to the extraordinary level of service, support and expertise of the Walindi Dive Course Manager, Captain Gary Kulisek, and his guides - I am now not only totally prepared and at ease in the water , I am... Beautifully run resort in a beautiful location. Managed by a delightful couple (son of the original owners and his soon-to-be-wife) who go out of their way to find out and then provide whatever their guests want. My partner and I are both strict vegetarians, and this presented absolutely no problem. Stunning secluded well-appointed bungalows with bar fridge and plunger coffee.... More
