Our Scenario's: 1. Upon arrival at the gate: Security Guards are arrogant, disrespectful and paranoid! 2. Lobby - we arrived at 12noon, we have to wait until 2PM to check in. The staff are disorganized, no sense of hospitality, no proper coordination. After more than 2 hours of waiting, they give us a room where: Dirty from used of recent... More

Pros: Great clean spacious rooms, comfy beds, cold aircon. Nice pool, nice view. Fair amount of recreational activities. Great massage. Cons: Proper food handling please. you will fail health standards kung mainspect kayo. food handlers should always use plastic gloves or refrain from directly touching food especially those which will not be cooked. They prepare shakes, etc. by cutting up... More

Oh what a lovely place! My family stayed in this beautiful cottage (Orchard Lane) with one bedroom that is provided with two queen size beds. The cottage also has a living room with two sofa bed-like couches each with a pull-out bed, a six-seater dining table, a kitchen, a veranda and one toilet and bath. The kitchen is well provided... The idyllic Taal volcano as the background for this picturesque resort is awesome! Our room is fully furnished with cookware so we did not have problems for our food. They have 3 pools if I'm not mistaken, a chapel, a park and anything you will be needing for a great family bonding experience. But the lake is not suitable for... More

Pros: nice location 90 minutes or two hours south of Manila. Beautiful views from lakeside rooms. Food was decent to good. Rooms come with small kitchen and a little fridge. Beautiful place for a wedding, which is why I was there. Cons: in the U.S., this would be a two star resort so please have your expectations clear. Service is... More

We were there for an overnight stay with the family and rented a one bedroom villa. The reservation was made via phone and the sales agent did not respond to what he promise to send you prior to arrival. My request for a villa closest to the pool has been granted though. The villa is quite spacious and has a facility... More

My girlfriend and I chose to stay at Club Balai Isabel for our first monthsary. I specifically gave instructions to the personnel who handled us but I was disappointed by the way they were executed. I requested for 1 queen-sized bed and they agreed but we arrived at the room with two twin beds. The flower petals scattered all over... More

It's our first time to spend the New Year (2014) at Balai Isabel and we definitely enioyed it. The staff at the reception area were very polite and accomodating. All our requests were granted. Though they're fully booked, we didn't feel the crowd because the place is very spacious. The fireworks display was worth the wait. We brought our own... More
