Early February, I called their Makati office asking for some details regarding the Taal Trek. I was told by a girl that walk-ins are accepted. I told her that I wanted to guarantee that my trek will be accommodated so I offered a downpayment via bank transfer. She told me that downpayment is not necessary, as I can just walk... More

Location- nice location and view of sunset and sunrise Standard Room- comfortable but have mosquitos. Hotel did not furnish the room with hair dryer and complimentary coffee upon arrival. You need to requests everyday for complimentary coffee. Aircon is quite old. Breakfast- okey Taal Volcano Trekking- must try. Swimming Pool- big but not strict to implement proper swimming attire. Went there for our departmental planning, we're big group so we stayed in a 4 bedroom house with loft. The place we stayed is nice, we we're given a nice view of the Taal volcano and the house is not what we expected, I ts like your home away from home... it's clean and most of the amenities we're available... My girlfriend and I with her family went here during the APEC summit 2015 which was great since they have promos on those days. Almost everything about this resort is nice. Our room and CR are clean (did not check the other rooms, of course, but we got the suite type) The surroundings also looks well-maintained. It's nice to take... More

Nice place to wind up with family nearby Manila. The pools are clean but the Taak lake was unswimmable due to some seeweeds. The staff claimed it is swimmable but the time we went wasn't due ti its nature's course. However, Balai Isabel is very close to the Taal Volcano. Foods are superb. Free welcome drinks and morning buffet breakfast.... More

1. I have arranged a van pick up on arrival from airport to Club Balai. No driver showed up despite the fact receiving an email confirmation of the booking. I tried numerous times to contact Front Desk Reception and the mob number of the contact person who confirmed my booking - BUT FAILED! It was ringing followed by number unobtainable!... More

My family and I spent our 2015 Christmas vacation at Club Balai Isabel. What's notable about this place for me is the scenic view of Taal every sunset and sunrise - succinctly perfect! I think this is not a place for highly active/adventurous people as they offer limited amenities. This is the place where I can recommend one to just... More

we booked the resort for 12 persons and had a "suite" on 2 floors with eaeach 6 beds (1 queen size and 4 single beds) and a bathroom. small kitchen with fridge, gas stove. The rooms were okay, but could use some touch up (especially the doors inside the showers......) The resort has 3 swimming pools. The kids enjoyed the... More
