It was such an amazing experience, the view was just so peaceful and the place was really something else. This is such a family friendly area, you can just walk around an enjoy the shade of the trees or go biking, they have rentals which are at reasonable prices, then they also have the play area for billiards and darts.... The second time I stayed at Club Balai Isabel is for work, a two-day meeting with my colleagues. Rooms - I feel that the Orchid Villa rooms (advertised for 6-8 pax) are great for four adults sharing, not more - for the comfort of guests. Because the villa only had one toilet per apartment, there was a queue to shower... More

Nice comfortable rooms, great pools, wonderful view and reasonable food. Indeed a good weekend getaway! The only low point was they do not reply to special requests when you book online... in my case i requested for an early check in but when we arrived earlier we were told that the room was not available when in fact I knew... We came here just for a day tour. We planned to go on short notice that we didn't even check if we could enter without making a reservation. Thankfully though, going on a day tour is okay even without reservations. Upon entering, you would be required to pay for the entrance fee. Included in the entrance fee is a towel... More

Been here last 2013 and we had a great experience, their staff are accomodating and smiling at all times..The sad part was we only stayed for a night, maybe even better if we stayed 2 or 3 night to experience more of balai isabel.. Must try their massage and spa for a very relaxing treat..overall, we had a great time... More

This resort is a nice place to relax in specially at night. The ambiance is nice. But so many weddings are held in this place that is why some part of the resort is usually not open to other guests. The lake is dirty (what do you expect from a lake that is near manila) but the pool is nice.

Dear Ms. Sol, Thank you for your feedback. Currently, Balai is becoming a frequent wedding destination. Our wedding venues are reserved exclusively for the wedding guests but all of our pools and other recreational areas are open to everyone. Regarding the lake, we are doing all we can to preserve the waters of Taal. We hope that you will be... More

It's our first time to commute out of town. Going to this place by bus is very easy. Just follow the directions on their FB page. We got our room at a very reasonable rate from their weekly online promo. We arrived at the resort very early. No traffic at that time because it's a weekday. The guard from the... More

First of all, I wish we booked somewhere else for that overnight weekend. The lake doesn't look good, the resort itself is nothing special and there's not much to do. It's a good thing I was with great company. The Standard Room we got was rather small. It had two queen beds and was part of a cottage with about... More

Club Balai Isabel is a perfect place to go to for a weekend getaway. It's just around 2-hour drive from our place (Taytay, Rizal). So this place is really convenient if you're considering the travel time. We booked their Premium Room and it was worth it. It was spacious, more than enough for six people! It has a kitchen, special... More
