We were staying locally and decided to go to the Dormy House Hotel. We knew we would not be disappointed as we have had good meals on every occasion we have been there. This time was no exception, we had steaks which were cooked just as we like them. My wife likes hers rare and does not often get to... More

Just as we were running out of options and with rain threatening we saw the sign for rooms available. Don't be put off by the first impression of a tired looking place with need of modernisation. The staff are very friendly and the rooms and food excellent. The bar was not very well stocked but you can't have everything. If... More

The carvery was of a poor standard, which is not what you want after a long walk. The beef was very undercooked and the vegetables were hard. Very expensive for poor quality. The seating was cramped and not ideal for anyone with a disability.

Third stay, this time with my wife, six year old grandson and four year old granddaughter and had two twin rooms, one for the "boys" and one for the "girls" Comfortable and welcoming hotel and very good and friendly staff, especially the restaurant manageress, the chief cleaning lady and a couple of the receptionists Great location, situated on the main... My friends and I went for a meal in the hotel's restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered from the carvery and had a desert, both were very good. Plus the employees throughout the night were extremely accommodating. Definitely recommend!

Stayed elsewhere overnight but met wuth family for an evening meal at Dormy House. All four in our party agreed that the food was really good. Two of the party also stayed overnight and were really pleased with their accommodation. Fully recommend.

The meat - what little you got of it was cooked well and of good quality and the veg was nice but the Yorkshire puddings were like reinforced cardboard and the quantity of meat offered by the surly carver, left to be desired. And when we asked if we could have a bit more meat we were met with a... More

We did not stay at the B&B but we visited The Dormy for a carvery during our stay in sheringham. We have been here before on previous visit and always had a top class carvery but I am afraid it has now just become an poor-average one. The meat was beautiful but the Yorkshire puddings were like rocks (completely inedible)... More

Went back to Dormy after a not to good carvery at last visit. The dinning room is lovely and service good the carvery was a lot better in fact very good except for the yorkshires which were very hard ! I think I will go back again and hopefully they will be crisp but not hard (only a small complaint )
