This is without a doubt one of the best B&Bs my family and I have ever stayed in. The host, Christine, is warm and welcoming and knows loads about the area. Also, her breakfasts are fantastic, with homemade goods such as marmalade and jam. Rooms are tidy and spacious and all en-suite bathrooms are very neat with roomy showers. All... More

This was a great find. We cruise from Southampton and rather than park in the city, we park outside at Marchwood, often driving down on the morning of departure; on our most recent trip decided to take the pressure off and stay the night before so looked on the edge of the New Forest. Kingswood looked ideally situated and indeed... More

We stayed at Kingwood Cottage during the most recent bank holiday weekend and it was wonderful. Due to traffic we arrived much later than was expected on the Friday evening but were met by Christine who was wonderfully welcoming and wanted only to check that we were ok! We were shown to our room, a beautiful and comfortable room with... More

We stayed at Kingswood Cottage over the recent bank holiday weekend and had the most lovely stay. Beautiful, peaceful setting, comfortable ensuite room with lovely views and a delicious breakfast. We would recommend the smoked trout and scrambled egg! Christine was a fantastic host. She was very flexible with accommodating our plans for the weekend and gave us some great... More

This hidden gem is on the brink of New Forest and ideal start of your trip! Close to station, close to hiking paths, close to most amazing Indian restaurant... And quiet! The biggest plus has got to be the breakfast! Very unusual for a B&B to have trout on the menu... Whoah! Freshly caught by the owner, Christine! Don't hold... More

I recently stayed at Kingswood Cottage with my brother and Dad for a wedding close by. We had three ensuite rooms which were lovely! And the bed was very comfy. We were well looked after by the owner who made a delicious breakfast in the morning and even offered to pick my dads car up from the wedding venue so... More

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of the country. We took friends away for the weekend and Christine and Paul ensured that we had a lovely time. Very comfortable rooms, everything you could possibly need and great hospitality. At our request, Christine even introduced us to their labrador, Molly, who was very entertaining. Breakfast was simply wonderful, we were... More

We found a place to rest and enjoy the New Forest National Park. I can´t imagine another B&B better than this: Very kind and friendly owners (she is a gorgeous cook). Wonderful breakfast in a wonderful lodge and superb in suite-room. Pristine room, so cute and stylish decoration everywhere.

Peaceful, lovely rooms, beautiful views, central for New Forest sight-seeing. And breakfast to die for. Rather spoilt the idea of eating out. The owners were exceptionally friendly and immensely helpful/knowlegeable about the area. Would unreservedly recommend.

This lovely cottage is well situated with easy access to the New Forest. The rooms are clean and very comfortable with everything you could possibly wish for. Thick fluffy white towels and a wide range of complimentary toiletries in an excellent showeroom. The breakfast is one of the best we have ever had with an excellent range of choices including...
