We use the village as a pleasant way to break our journeys along the south coast. The few minutes traveling from the main route are well rewarded by the ease of parking. Clean modern comfort facilities help make a relaxing visit. On this occasion instead of a tea room we took our evening meals from the specials board at the... More

Stayed here for a family event and it was absolutely lovely. The staff were friendly particularly James and Darren. The food was exceptional and the relaxed feel of the hotel and indeed village made me want to stay longer.

Came in for our usual lunch time break from walking around the beautiful village of Burley. Had a lovely couple of drinks sitting in the large outside seating area and then a freshly cooked scampi and chips - yummy! We then sat and watched the ponies wandering through the village and casually stopping in the road at The Cross. So... More

My wife and I booked a three night stay at the Burley Inn in the new forest. Unfortunately my wife became ill on the first night and had to rushed into Hospital. All the staff at the Burley were very helpful in sorting who to contact about my wife's illness. It was very late at night when she became ill... More

Upon arrival we were unable to park in the hotel car park and had no choice but to leave the car in a disabled space. My husband approached the bar to notify a member of staff of our arrival which took more time than it should of due to lack of staff (only 2 throughout the whole hotel/restaurant/bar). We asked... Me and my partner stayed here for one night in May 2014. When I booked the lady told me the room was their deluxe room, and after seeing some photos on their website I thought it would be nice especially as the price tag was £95. On arrival I was very disappointed, this is not a deluxe room, the only... More

Hello there, Firstly I would like to apologise for the room you stayed in. House keeping has been informed, and the tile has been replaced. We have ample amounts of tea, coffee and biscuits, and everyone is welcome to as much as you'd like. If you'd have informed us at the time about the biscuits this would not have been... More

We stayed here over the 2014 Easter weekend - a very busy time for all pubs, but we were very well looked after by the friendly staff. A good breakfast and a comfortable bed. We had lots of family staying at other places in Burley and the surrounding area, so we didn't spend a lot of time at the pub,... More
