Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Hotel staff friendly and helpful.Pub service was pleasant. Dinner order was delivered to table quickly. Caesar salad with shrimp excellent. Breakfast service was disappointing. Both servers were inexperienced and didn't bother to check if meal was OK (eggs were tasteless, toast was stale, ham was very salty) or offer refill for coffee. So called... More

My friend and I stayed overnight at this hotel on a coach trip to Buckingham Palace and I would recommend it to anyone. So clean and comfortable with all mod cons, everything you could wish for. The breakfast was excellent and although unfortunately we didn't have the evening meal as we had already eaten, everybody we spoke to couldn't speak... More

We booked this hotel as we had a wedding to go to in Uxbridge. From the minute we walked in we were impressed, the decor was lovely. The room was a good size (we had a double), the bed was fery comfortable. There was a TV in the room and a hairdryer in the dressing table drawer, there was also... More

The lady and daughters went for a weekend back to the lady's roots in a Uxbridge and to meet some old friends. Their opinions, excellent breakfast as well as diner ( in the private dining room) and room. They'll go back and next time I'll come too after their glorious descriptions of the place!

Fab hotel. Ended up in 3 different rooms though. First family room had a musty scent but we were moved to an alternative one with no fuss. Sadly we had to switch again as it was already booked for the next night. Stayed 2 nights and visited Legoland Windsor and Thorp Park which were both quite nearby. This hotel has... More

I struggled to find somewhere to stay - everywhere was full due to graduation. The hotel was nice, clean and friendly staff but I found the £145 for the room only way too much for the facilities and location. I wouldn't stay here again at that price.

Good and handy to shops, friendly helpful staff and we found the food delightful. Hotel is clean and the rooms are a good size. As we had travelled from New Zealand it was important that we had a room not facing the Main Road as we live in the country and are unused to night traffic our room was ideal.

I am reviewing the pub not the hotel. My husband and I went into the Red Lion last night for dinner. As it was so hot we decided to have the Ploughman's Platter for two - priced £20 we assumed that there would be plenty to feed us both - how wrong we were! The platter consisted of 2 mini... More

Five stars for the food reduced to three stars due to a really poor example of the service ethos. The senior waitress (possibly restaurant supervisor/manager) throwing the wine we had ordered into the glasses without allowing us to look at the bottle or taste it, very sloppy pouring too! We were never asked if everything was ok with the meal... More

Dear Jmc of Uxbridge, Thank you for taking the time to post your feed back on trip advisor after your Sunday lunch with us.
