Having to hang around the Sleaford for a couple of hours I looked for a good pub to pop in to. This is off the beaten track but only 10 miles from Newark/A1 and Sleaford. So on a warm summer evening we popped in. The interior of the pub gives a fair amount of space to the restaurant area which... More

Stopped here as a last minute work stop over, pleasing on the eye both inside out, lovely room (room 1) food was excellent with a reasonable beer and wine choice. Staff were friendly and the rural setting was fantastic. Will stop here again when in the area

Booked as a surprise for my wife's 40th birthday, we arrived in the mid afternoon not realising the inn opens after 6pm, however we where greeted by a very helpful young man who showed us to our very nice room (6) in the outer building. The room was very clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated. The staff let us in... More

A lovely place to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary with family. Super three course Sunday lunch and very good service. An excellent choice of all courses and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit.

12 of our family ranging from 12 to 80 celebrated my father-in-laws birthday last weekend at this beautiful restaurant. We cannot thank them enough for the most memorable evening. None of us are local coming from Yorkshire, London and Hertfordshire. It is so good that 10 years ago we all came together for his 70th. Everyone you come across here... More

We loved our one night at The Brownlow Arms and will certainly be returning now that we've tried such superior accommodation and service. We were welcomed and directed to Room 1, which is a beautiful suite on the first floor facing the front of the hotel. The room was immaculately clean and tastefully furnished. Antique furniture, in keeping with the... More

The location is quite rural which made it nice and quiet. The room I had was very spacious and comfortable. There was a little bit of a problem with hot water, but it was just about sorted. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The specials menu for dinner was very good with an intersting range of dishes. The food... More

The warmth and character of the Brownlow Arms hits you from the moment you enter....roaring fire, comfy chairs, stylish decor, smiling faces and friendly staff. What more could you want on a cold March evening? Our guests had travelled from Australia and immediately fell in love with the quaint 'English-ness' of the establishment. Ryan, our waiter, was courteous, polite and... More

Faultless. Someone has thought carefully about this place. It has a lot of style and the food is excellent. Acceptable prices. Great beer. Charming waitresses. Very strongly recommended. I cannot add much more, but there cannot be many, if any, better pub restaurants in Lincolnshire.
