We loved our one night at The Brownlow Arms and will certainly be returning now that we've tried such superior accommodation and service. We were welcomed and directed to Room 1, which is a beautiful suite on the first floor facing the front of the hotel. The room was immaculately clean and tastefully furnished. Antique furniture, in keeping with the... More

The location is quite rural which made it nice and quiet. The room I had was very spacious and comfortable. There was a little bit of a problem with hot water, but it was just about sorted. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The specials menu for dinner was very good with an intersting range of dishes. The food... More

We visited The Brownlow Arms on Sunday lunchtime for a meal, we had a warm welcome in the bar area and i was lent a pair of spectacles as i had forgotten mine, which was a nice touch. The Bar area had a cosy fire and feel to it and was a nice place to have a look at the menu.i... More

The warmth and character of the Brownlow Arms hits you from the moment you enter....roaring fire, comfy chairs, stylish decor, smiling faces and friendly staff. What more could you want on a cold March evening? Our guests had travelled from Australia and immediately fell in love with the quaint 'English-ness' of the establishment. Ryan, our waiter, was courteous, polite and... More

Faultless. Someone has thought carefully about this place. It has a lot of style and the food is excellent. Acceptable prices. Great beer. Charming waitresses. Very strongly recommended. I cannot add much more, but there cannot be many, if any, better pub restaurants in Lincolnshire.

Went here in December for a dinner with friends. The hotel is beautiful both on the outside and the inside with roaring fires and a modern but classic finish with very tasteful furnishings. Had drinks in front of a roaring fire then into the dining room. Food delicious and beautifully presented. Service excellent and friendly. We were a little noisier... More

Visited for an overnight stay to celebrate wedding anniversary & birthday. Lovely old building, spacious well appointed rooms with modern facilities. Very welcoming caring hosts, nothing too much trouble. Excellent evening meal, with attentive service & great breakfast. Well worth a visit.

I was visiting Lincolnshire as I had been invited to attend the passing out parade at RAF Cranwell for the latest group of Reserve Officers. I found the Brownlow Arms on line and booked in - arriving around 8ish in the evening it was difficult to park as the place was surrounded clearly by eager diners and on entering the... More

One often forgets that dining out is about the food as well as the ambience and the service. On our visit this establishment succeeded hands down with all three. Welcoming and attentive staff, an open fire at the bar with tasteful decor all over. The meal was memorable whether it was the cheese soufflé' or the belly pork followed by... More

I am slightly biased as my grandson is head chef here. We went as a large family party for his wedding and could not find fault at all. Comfortable rooms in the annexe and friendly and excellent service. Gorgeous food too!
