B&B is located right at the coast of the small, sweet village Fanore. From our room we had a phenomenal sea view and could watch the sunset. A comfortable, neat room with a luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Originally we planned to stay in Doolin but we are lucky that by accident we found this nice B&B in Fanore. Fanore... More

So there are not many lodging choices in Fanore, which maybe is part of the charm of the town. Jill runs a quiet B&B with a beautiful view of the ocean and her own backyard garden. Her reading library is a treasure trove of the wonders the lie just around and up the hill. From the golden shores of Fanore... More

We had a great 3 night stay with Pat and Gill. They were extremely helpful, even calling to reserve seats for us on the boat to the Aran Isles. The B&B is comfortable, with all the expected home-like touches, and a delicious and generous breakfast. We especially enjoyed the pub up the road for dinner every evening - the best... More

Only stayed one night, but we enjoyed our short stay in the Burren. Wish we had more time to stay - I would stay two nights if I had to do all over again. The room was small; bed was firm, but everything was spotless.

What shall I say? The Orchid House was the best B&B during our stay in Ireland (although we were really lucky with all of our B&Bs!!!). Room - perfectly clean, lovely equipped, nice view Breakfast - delicious! Hospitality - inexpressible. I do not tend to exaggerate! If you are looking for a place to relax, feel secure, comfortable and well... More

I cannot rave enough about our time at The Orchid House. Pat and Gill are the kindest people we met in Ireland and provided the most wonderful, warm, inviting, and lovely experience. We were traveling around Ireland for two weeks for our honeymoon and Fanore was our last and favorite stop on our trip. We arrived to a congratulations card... More

Our stay with Gil and Pat in mid-July 2015 was a wonderful way to begin our travels through Ireland. Our rooms were very comfortable, the views were beautiful and the breakfasts were outstanding. Pat gave us a tour of his poly-tunnel and an explanation of his working farm. They gave us additional information of things to see while we were... More
