We enjoyed everything about our visit to the Kings Arms last week. We stayed in the Apple room, and we were more than pleasantly surprised by its size, decor, comfort etc. Every little thing had been considered; from the standard of the toiletries to the wifi .... we loved having the sofa to relax on after enjoying a delicious meal... Stayed here for 2 nights recently with friends. The rooms are lovely, spacious with everything you need including free Wifi. The food is excellent we didn't opt for the DBB rate as we don't all eat 3 courses so just stayed B&B. Breakfasts were excellent and cooked to order nothing was too much trouble and the staff were lovely. If... More

Stayed here overnight last week. The room was comfortable and clean. The bar was friendly and the hand pulled beers were good. The food was delightful. I found it hard to make my mind up on what to have as all the plates that came out looked superb. Will defiantly stay again when in the area next.

Found this when looking to break our journey to the North East. It was everything we could have wished for, comfortable room, excellent food and friendly staff. Will certainly stay again on our way to visit friends.

We met two old friends for a 2 night stay. Everything you read below is correct. Food was very varied. An excellent wine list. Good hand pull beers. Rooms are very well sized with comfortable beds. Water in shower was intermittent...so a bit of patience was needed.

We've just returned from a 2 night break at The Kings Arms and have had a lovely relaxing time. We were in the Bakery suite which was huge with a fantastically comfortable bed and lovely deep bath. The highlight of our stay was the truly amazing food. I have never had such delicious food both for breakfast and dinner and... More

I stayed here a few months ago with my partner and had dinner in the restaurant. The room was great, spacious enough to have a sofa and had a decent sized bathroom. The food was fantastic and service very efficient and friendly. We enjoyed it so much we went back again last weekend for Sunday lunch after an invigorating cycle... More

Ten of us stayed 3 nights for our annual cycling weekend. First thing to say is that the surrounding countryside (Rutland Water, Oundle, Stamford etc) was a revelation to us - lovely undulating hills, perfect for cycling, and very pretty scenery between the handsome and interesting towns and villages. The Kings Arms is an attractive Inn with a comfortable lounge... More

RESTAURANT ONLY REVIEW We dined at this wonderful place last Saturday and the food was fantastic! We were in a dilemma between the specials board (bizarrely only displayed in the bar) and the main menu. A clever little blackboard map in the bar indicates the the origin of the ingredients underlining the local sourcing of the main components (the furthest... More
