A perfect Sunday lunch, in front of a roaring fire, in one of the UKs most scenic places. Top notch service, by a team that care for their regular customers and tourists. A food palate shaped by top notch local ingredients, sourced locally prepared with a traditional flair. Dog friendly too. THANK YOU so much for a lovely lunch. Fairly... More

I have eaten at the Kings Arms with family and friends on numerous occasions and I have never once been disappointed by the food, the ales, the staff, the atmosphere, or the service. It is consistently excellent and a trip here will not leave you disappointed. The menu always leaves one spoiled for choice and the range of local produce,... More

This pub is a bit special..We stayed the night in their annexe adjacent to the pub.The food, an evening meal and the following day breakfast, was as good as it gets.We had a pre dinner pint and sat in the very welcoming bar complete with wood fire with a very interesting conversation on modern farming methods with a local resident,as... £220 for the 2 of us. Drinks at the bar, 3 evening courses and 2 breakfasts during a 1 night stay. We were really impressed with the standards of the Kings Arms, it is well run and well staffed. We stayed in a basic ensuite. The rooms are in the same building as but away from the pub. Quiet, warm,... More

We stayed between Christmas and new year for dinner, bed and breakfast. The dinner was superb, very high standard of cooking. The Kings Arms has a fabulous atmosphere, a traditional English pub that does excellent food. The room was a high standard with an outstanding breakfast...Yum!

We took an overnight mid week break to relax and the Kings Arms Inn was perfect. Beautiful pub in a lovely village with its own private rooms in the converted bakery and granary opposite. Very friendly staff, great food that left us fit to burst, roaring fire and a good selection of beers and wines. Ended up spending the whole... More

My friend and I stayed at the Kings Arms for the second time this year. This pub is located in a lovely rural village location in the heart of Rutland. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nicely fitted out and although basic, have everything you'd need and expect from a country pub. Bathrooms are relatively modern, but not... More

We visited on a Saturday night. Sooo busy but sooo good!!! It was Kathys last night what a sad night to see her go she looked after for all these years with humour and good grace XX the food was outstanding as usual and nothing too much trouble. Just sad we can't make it as often as we would like... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights to explore Rutland. Lovely location and a beautiful little village just around three miles from Rutland water. In our first night we had a two course meal. The food was well presented and tasted really good. Although we felt the food service was slowly nevertheless the staff were friendly. The restaurant ambience... More

Everything about the Kings Arms is excellent. The food was delicious especially the smoked ham, eggs and chips. Great sized portions offers good value. The service was exemplary. Now our go-to place to eat.
