We found the Old Greyhound by chance when we were looking for somewhere for breakfast. What a find! Superb meal quickly and expertly served. The two barmaids couldn't have been more helpful and polite. It was a real pleasure. We will definitely be back on another occasion.

Took Mum for a Mother's Day lunch as we had been there before a few months ago and had a good meal. Unfortunately our experience this time was not as good. We were put in the bar as something was being done in the dining room. I was not told this when I booked the table otherwise I would have... More

In the Great Glen area for the day. Just called in at the Old Greyhound for a meal (Sunday afternoon), but was offhandedly told that the 'kitchen was closed'! Very strange - even went on website beforehand to check it out. No apology or explanation. Not a great way to welcome potential new custom. So went up the road to... More

My friend and I and our two young babies came to the old greyhound for lunch having not been before. The staff were amazing, they could not have been more attentive, kind and friendly, they literally catered for our every need. We both ate off the lunch menu and the food was great, we will definitely be returning.

Stayed here for two weeks in October with work and found the rooms very clean and warm and good value for money. Bar staff were friendly and welcoming . We entered the Monday night quiz and found the locals very friendly and had a really good laugh . Overall a really nice place to stay and I would definitely stay... More

Could not fault the Staff who were welcoming, polite and very friendly although you could find yourself waiting outside whilst they arrived and got sorted for breakfast if you are there before the agreed time! The accommodation a different story........... the stairs and landing to, and the room itself, was shabby, not very clean, dirty carpets and walls, and the... More

An ideal place for the premier inn dodger, (like myself) The staff are happy and welcoming, the rooms are fine but most importantly for me, the real ales are good and the food is good. It would be hard to pick fault if you rate places by the price you pay as I do, and every time I leave here... More
