My wife and I have just returned from spending a week at this wonderful B&B. Our hostess, Margaret, never stopped working from the moment she welcomed us until we departed. Her single minded goal was to do everything she could to make her guests happy - nothing seemed to be too much trouble Our room, the rear facing twin, was... More

My wife and I recently spent 6 nights at Englewood Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The indefatigable Margaret warmly welcomed us with coffee and cake - which was available every afternoon. There was also a good choice of fruit . Breakfasts were all very well presented and delicious; there was a great variety to choose from. Our twin bedroom... More

Just returned from a lovely week at the Englewood lodge. Could not fault it. Owner, cook, cleaner, travel consultant Margaret is a lovely lady and could not be more helpful. Her cooking also lives up to the five star rating. Good choice of breakfast, and excellent dinners can be booked if required. Lovely cake and tea/coffee to come home to... More

As it says in the title, Englewood Lodge really is an outstanding place to stay, Margaret cannot do enough for her guests, bedrooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with wonderful views of Douglas Bay from the front facing rooms. The Breakfasts are superb with an array of cereal and fruit to start along with a varied hot choice , with... More

We spent a very enjoyable six nights at Englewood Lodge. All aspects of the stay were excellent from the friendliness of the welcome, to the well appointed and clean room to the delicious breakfasts and dinners. The location is convenient for getting around the island and our room had a fine view across Douglass Bay.

The hostess, Margaret, took every opportunity to make our stay with her as comfortable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The room we had was exceptional, especially the bathroom and the view. Breakfasts were superb, wide choice of items, all well cooked and tasty. Definitely the best B&B on the Island, beats the highest rated hotels we... More

Really easy to find, despite directions given. From the ferry, keep the sea on your right and continue for a mile until you climb the hill out of Douglas. B&B is near top of hill LHS. There is only 1 road. Simples! Run single handedly by Margaret who just couldn't work harder. Everything is spotless and nothing is too much... More

My family and I stayed here whilst visiting the Isle of Man as we had been forewarned that Douglas was a little shabby. I trusted the reviews here on Tripadviser and booked, we weren't disappointed! This beautiful coastal road property in Onchan boasts 5 fantastic en suite bedrooms All furnished to a very high standard, complete with bathrobes, slippers and Molton... More

Most definitely the best Bed & Breakfast we have stayed in, in the UK. The food presented was excellent 10/10. The Room we had was very spacious and the bed crisp clean and comfortable. The lounge and conservatory are relaxing and give good views of Douglas Bay. The very friendly owner puts everything into her business to make sure her... More
