This is a fantastic location for a hotel. It's one of a handful of buildings which constitute the village / hamlet of Oxwich, and it commands a breathtaking view of one of the UK's most beautiful beaches. Only a few rooms have a view of the beach, but the hotel also lists several cottage rooms in nearby houses in the... More

Stayed about a year or so back. Hotel much improved & considerably updated. Now have a proper reception area with charming staff. Ye Olde School House also upgraded. This time stayed in Cwm Bryn. Only problem was a slightly dirty curtain. Loved the back access. Also noted that the other room on ground floor, Everdon has been upgraded. Twins when... More

We recently spent a week exploring the Gower Penninsular, based in the Mumbles. We decided to have a look at Oxwich Bay and were surprised to find a really nice looking hotel/restaurant. They are dog friendly so we booked a table for the following evening. We were not disappointed, we were shown to our table, a small area between the... More

We revisited this hotel: My partners family had booked for the week and we joined them for 1 night as a surprise. Excellent value for evening meal/bed and breakfast. The ladies in reception were all in on the surprise and were brilliant - thanks ladies!!! We stayed in Paviland in Ivy Cottage. The room is delightful, with an exceptional, spotlessly... More

The location around the hotel was gorgeous. The beach is right outside and it's a wonderful beach. Also we went on a walk which took us to the Oxwhich castle, through the woods and past an old church. The hotel itself is really basic. We payed £85 for a room for one night as we were attending a wedding. Our... More

A birthday treat at the end of a long and latterly rain soaked hike along the Gower coast. We had a sea-view room which while superficially nicely decorated was in need of some refurbishment, especially in the bathroom. Because of the shape of the room it was not really possible to make effective use of some of the furnishings. Overall... More

Saturday lunch for 4. Excellent menu, good service, and really good food. We didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms but it was a lovely good food restaurant. I went with my elderly parents, and staff were attentive to help. Only small downside is the hotel is right next to the beach, and there are lots of people in... More

I am the mother of the groom and I expected the best for the bride and groom for their wedding. The wedding party arrived on the Saturday for a wedding rehearsal and the staff at the hotel were fantastic and were very accommodating, listening to the needs of the bride and groom regarding how they wanted everything to be set... Stopped off for a drink on our way to Rhossilli and was astounded to be charged £8.60 for two pints of Dooms Bitter. The only saving grace was that there was free parking and a great view from the garden. Out and out exploitation and will not be returning
