We were staying in the campsite up the road and would like to say how brilliant the hotel were when we needed to charge our phone and use their wifi after we suffered some car trouble! We returned for a drink later that evening too, and the views across the bay were lovely. The only downside was my husband ordered... More

This was a return for a group dinner and the location was just as nice on a balmy June evening (although the decor is not to my taste) but the food seems to have improved to a large extent. The dinner offered choices of 3 items for all 3 courses. The food was well-cooked and the portions generous to very... More

We stopped here after a walk round the bay for scones, cream and jam and tea, with a view of the beach and sea thrown in for nothing. It's very popular and finding a table outside for 4 wasn't that easy but we managed it. Beware! Each cream tea comes with 2 scones per serving which for us was a... More

We have stayed in more luxurious dormitories as students 30 years ago. Everything is tatty and 'velour' in the restaurant with a chipboard bar, kind but confused staff, dogs dribbling every where, tiny rooms ( I mean tiny where you can't wait to check out). Poorly furnished rooms that smell of dogs, pubic hairs in the bed ( our bed... More

The price for drinks in the bar are exorbitant. Beer is more expensive here than in Central London! It is £1 more expensive than local pubs and one can only conclude that they are cashing in on the tourist trade. Pity because the refurbished dining room looked quite inviting.

Many thanks for your latest review. Our dining room which you found quite inviting is open all day everyday 8am to 9pm throughout the year, our menus are available on our website. We appreciate your comment regarding our price for drinks. Kind regards Senior Management More

Stayed in a static caravan for a family wedding. It was small, there wasn't room to swing a cat in the twin room, the cold tap in the shower needed fixing. But apart from that, the breakfast was beautiful and the views were spectacular

Stayed in this cottage room last night with our 2 dogs. Ideal for anyone staying with dogs. The main room is really spacious and contains a 3 piece suite, coffee table, small dining table with 2 chairs, an enormous bed, wardrobe and bedside cabinets. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided plus a small fridge. A door then leads into... More

We arrived early evening after walking for 5 hours in the driving rain and lashing wind. There was no clear signs to hotel reception. We were directed around the side of the hotel as there was a wedding going on. I went into the bar and stood for 5-10mins dripping wet under a sign saying 'RECEPTION', only to be told... More

We stayed overnight at The Old School House (a few hundred yards walk from the main hotel), after an early summer wedding. The rooms were perfectly fine and provided clean comfortable beds, a good shower and tea/ coffee making facilities. The hotel overlooking Oxwich Bay is where breakfast is served. We were very efficiently served above average quality food, staff... More

We stayed here about 15 years ago for a wedding in the marquee but don’t really remember what our room was like. So when an offer appeared on Groupon we thought we’d take advantage of the deal for a B&B overnighter in a standard room. We were allocated a room called Little Tor on the 2nd floor of the main...
