Almonds and corals rooms are exactly how they look on the website. The rooms are beautiful. Absolutely a comfortable place to stay in the selva. You feel like your in a community and yet, your own private rainforest. The rain makes everything so green and vibrant. There are colorful animals: crabs, snakes, frogs, birds. What makes almonds and corals so... More

For our honeymoon, we stayed both here and Arenal Nayara, a luxury resort by the volcano. Almonds was the most amazing experience I've ever had! After staying here, I couldn't stand the other resort. I'm not sure where all these one star reviewers stayed because this place was truly incredible! You have to know where you're going though. You cannot... More

I've made multiple trips to Costa Rica in the past 3 years and based on the reviews and pictures on the hotel website, I thought Almonds & Corals was going to be a truly great experience. However, the stay was the worst of all my hotel stays, which has been over 10 different small, local hotels. First the rooms are... More

I loved my stay in Almonds and Corals. Being in the middle of the jungle with beautiful bungalows and monkeys waking you up in the morning was amazing. If you love being close to nature this is your place. People in the hotel were very nice and food was good! Great experience!

We have made multiple trips to Costa Rica and stayed in every region and 95% of the time we stay at small rural inns and B&B places that are in rural areas. We don't expect air conditioning or satellite TV but we do expect a good mattress and a ceiling fan and to be able to take a hot shower... More

We spent 4 days, 3 generations, grandpa, parents, 2 kids, and fully enjoyed it, including adventure type canopy rides. It may not be for everybody, tent like structures, no air conditioning, no TV. A key positive factor in our case was extremely friendly service by all and particularly the owner Aurora, who is a personality worth knowing by herself. She... More

This is a great concept hotel. Open aired (but with netting) cabinas in the middle of the forest. Truly relaxing. Each room has a jacuzzi / hot tub for personal use. Seems very eco-friendly and very well done. A little expensive (seems to be between $150 - 200, at least during high season), but definitely worth it for a truly... More

This was my fiancé and my first trip to Costa Rica and the staff and owners at Almonds and Corals ensured it will not be our last. The food was delicious and with a free breakfast and dinner included every night you are staying at Almonds and Corals, the price was right. The rooms were beautiful, with great views of... More
