First of all I have to say that you should go to manzanillo and not puerto viejo. It is much quieter, nicer and I guess also safer. If you go there you should definitely stay at cabinas yamann. We were there with a group of four so we had both available cabins, the kitchen and our terraces for ourselves. We... More

In our trip to Costa Rica we stayed in all kind of places, from hostel to apartment to tenthouse and this cabina was the best place by far! We were in Manzanillo during the rainy season, so nothing much was going on in the village and when we first stepped out of the bus after a day of travel, I... More

We loved this place. For $50 a night, we got the best cabina in Costa Rica. Both cabinas are apart and you feel very secluded in their lovely garden. You're surrounded by wildlife, loads of birds all around the cabina and bush chickens waking you up at 5am! Sloths are in the trees and howler monkeys can be heard from... More

We stayed 7 nights at cabinas Yamann and enjoyed it very much. Tanja and Daniel were very friendly and helpful and showed us many animals (sloth, howler monkeys, frogs, birds) and flowers. The cabinas are very clean and spacious and have a lovely veranda with a hamock. The beach and a supermarket are just two minutes away.

We spent three nights in Manzanillo at the end of our Costa Rica trip. Cabinas Yamann was a great place to stay – everything was spot on clean, functional and lovingly set up. The owners obviously take great care of the place and are also very helpful and accommodating. We kind of felt like we had arrived at the end... More

My husband and I stayed at Cabinas Yamann for 4 nights beginning of September. We are from Los Angeles, California, and went to the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica to be in the jungle and one with nature. Cabinas Yamann gives you the true jungle feel with their beautiful tropical gardens surrounding the 2 cabins. There is an open air... More

We found these cabins at Yamann on the internet when looking for somewhere to stay in Manzanillo. A great choice and probably the best place to stay in this tiny village. Located in a quiet street just 100 metres from the beach and main square. Large, clean comfortable cabins with en-suite and fans to keep you cool. Porch with built... More

Manzanillo was our first stop on our journey and we truly enjoyed the authentic experience this village provides. Cabinas Yamann was a little tough to find but well worth the journey. The cabins are really private and we felt safe there. Their lush garden provides seclusion and a beautiful view from the porch. The cabin was very clean and cozy.... More

Trying to get away from some of the crowds, we decided to go to the end of the line and stay in Manzanillo in Feb 2013. Due to positive reviews here, I looked up Cabinas Yamman and emailed Daniel. He requested that I use paypal for half of the total, which worked seemlessly, though there was some trust on my... More

It was my first destination when me and my boyfriend arrived Costa Rica last March. We stay five days, and i'm glad to say that after one month in Costa Rica it was the best place that i have stayed. Not just for the accommodation but for the village of Manzanillo.... If you are looking for the non tourist experiênce... More
