Nice new Cabinas with tropical wood, fan, insect screen, nice bathroom with hot water and a veranda next to the forrest. Very helpful staff. Omar, the owner, is a funny local guy which makes interessting and very funny tours through the rainforrest.

1) We stayed in an upstais room for 4 nights and loved our accommodations: good size room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a great shower and unlimited hot water. Communal tiny kitchen with fridge, hot plate, cofee maker, kettle if you want to cook. Every room has a balcony with table and 2 chairs to hang out when you are... More

We stayed one night in Bucus Cabinas, and we would definitely have stayed longer if we had had the time. The hostel is located on a very quiet street next to the village center. We had a very nice room on the upper floor with view onto the forest and our own little table and chairs on the shared patio.... More

Amazing stay at Cabinas Bucus. Beautifully set-up and cozy rooms with a superb view if you get the top floor! If you stay on the bottom floor, you have access to the hammocks and cozy balcony. A good plus is the access to a kitchenette, and the proximity to the beach. Did a few tours with Omar, which was one... More

Set just off the main drag (which is small!) is a lovely cabinas with some nice rooms. We took the upstairs rooms which I felt were the better ones although only a double bed. Room was nice size with decent bathroom/shower...hot water working was great. Set up is relaxed and friendly with any problem or question sorted immediately. Our host... More

Manzanillo is a small village with very limited accommodations. Do not expect to find luxury hotels here. Most places are not even really hotels but "cabinas"... either like a rooming house or a small motel. Cabinas Bucus has private rooms with baths (with hot water!) and a couple of rooms that also have a kitchen. I chose a room with... More

The Jungle tour with Omar was very ingeresting and enjoyable. He loves the rainforest and is very familiar with it. We saw lots of animals and he explained us everything percectly in a very funny way. The tour is really worth doing. Now to the accomodation. Looking at the pictures in internet,we have expected something totally different. The room was... More

I guess this is the most affordable accomodation in Manzanillo and for that money I've certainly slept in worse places. Our room was big enough and had AC, but be prepared that no matter what your sheets and clothes will always me moist due to the climate. We had really big bugs in our bathroom, but I guess that's common... More

This place is great, the owners are extremely welcoming. Take the jungle tour, it is totally worth it. Our tour guide was so knowledgable and entertaining. You will see everything you want; snakes, monkeys, frogs, etc. The rooms were spacious and comfortable as well. Bed nets were provided, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the shower was very spacious-and had... More
