Set just off the main drag (which is small!) is a lovely cabinas with some nice rooms. We took the upstairs rooms which I felt were the better ones although only a double bed. Room was nice size with decent bathroom/shower...hot water working was great. Set up is relaxed and friendly with any problem or question sorted immediately. Our host... More

Manzanillo is a small village with very limited accommodations. Do not expect to find luxury hotels here. Most places are not even really hotels but "cabinas"... either like a rooming house or a small motel. Cabinas Bucus has private rooms with baths (with hot water!) and a couple of rooms that also have a kitchen. I chose a room with... More

The Jungle tour with Omar was very ingeresting and enjoyable. He loves the rainforest and is very familiar with it. We saw lots of animals and he explained us everything percectly in a very funny way. The tour is really worth doing. Now to the accomodation. Looking at the pictures in internet,we have expected something totally different. The room was... More

I guess this is the most affordable accomodation in Manzanillo and for that money I've certainly slept in worse places. Our room was big enough and had AC, but be prepared that no matter what your sheets and clothes will always me moist due to the climate. We had really big bugs in our bathroom, but I guess that's common... More

This place is great, the owners are extremely welcoming. Take the jungle tour, it is totally worth it. Our tour guide was so knowledgable and entertaining. You will see everything you want; snakes, monkeys, frogs, etc. The rooms were spacious and comfortable as well. Bed nets were provided, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the shower was very spacious-and had... More

Lovely, quiet place a 2 minute walk from the beach. Omar, one of the owners, is a great host and trekking guide (definitely recommend a nature walk with him). The two apartments have small kitchens and other four large airy rooms share a small kitchen. A comfortable place to spend some days in a quaint little village, away from the... More

We stayed in one of the 2nd floor suites for a week and really enjoyed it. Spatious and clean rooms of good standard for being pretty far out on the countryside. We had hummingbirds filling up on nectar in the mornings just outside the suite, and howler monkeys were ever present in the trees in the area. The wooden cabin... More

We kept extending our stay because we loved it so much, and only left to explore other parts of the country. It is a lovely, spacious, immaculate room with a big shower, and deck. It's in a great location, facing the jungle and close to restaurants and the beach. We borrowed fins and snorkels. The highlight of my trip was... More

A nice clean place a short walking distance from the centre of Manzanillo. The hosts were great, helpful and positive and showed they card about their place and their guests. Room was spotless and comfortable. Close enough to the jungle to hear weird sounds early in the morning, but that for me is part of the experience. Recommended.
