As experienced with many other Fletcher hotels, I doubt whether this one is worth 4 stars. I had already read in advance that this used to be a cloister and that the standard rooms are quite small. Fortunately we had pre-booked a room upgrade, and the room we got was nice and comfortable - it even had a small balcony... More

It almost look like this hotel is run by two different companies. The service in the restaurant was very good with attentive staff and good food. But the hotel itself was disappointing. Our room suffered from fungus growing on the ceiling and the heating was not working. When we reported this to the reception on the day we left we... More

What a corny hotel. Blegh. No smiles or interaction at the reception, dreadful breakfastroom, fusty rooms. It's a punishment to stay here after a great visit to Sluis! The rating of the hotel should be 2 stars, maximum.

8 couples have just returned from a 3 night stay at this charming hotel as there were excellent golf courses nearby and brilliant shopping. The hotel - which was originally a monastery - was delightful and the staff very helpful, especially in the restaurant where the menu was innovative and beautifully presented. Ample parking. Only small complaint was that the... More

We were lucky to have lunch at the restaurant Oud Sluis so decided to stay in Sluis so we could enjoy the wines. There's not much choice for a hotel in Sluis so we chose this one. We through, it's 4 stars, must be good. Well... It's not bad but it's definitely not 4 stars. The rooms are dark, outdated... More

The room was reasonably comfortable, and the bathroom was luxurious. No tea / coffee making facilities which was a bit of a surprise for a 4* hotel. Our room had a great view over open farmland at the rear of the building. Breakfast was OK with some choice. The hotel has a restaurant which we didn't use and a bar... More

This hotel (nice and completely in style) is suberbly located, just minutes from the beautiful village Sluis and by car near the Belgian coast (Knokke) the Zwin or historical Damme and Brugge. Very friendly approach by staff. Parking garage is (of course in the winter) a great luxury. Both bar, restaurant and breakfast room very neat and richly. Diners a... More

Hotel looks beautiful on the outside, the rooms are big but pretty average. No robe, no iron board, nice bathroom but overall it feels a bit sparse. Still, for the price, you can't complain - we got a very good deal via a booking site.

Only spent one night here but overall not too bad. Parking was good with plenty of spaces, check in was efficient. First impressions were good it looks a nice hotel on arrival. We had a deluxe room on the second floor which isn't a large room but was nicely decorated, clean and very warm. The beds were comfortable but no tea... More

The rooms are clean and comfortableThe nice bathroom give a a litle feeling of luxury because it is very spacy.. The lady at the counter and the serviceis excellent. Breakfast is simple butin a quiet atmosphere and you can read your newspaper very relaxed.
