Together with my sister and brother in law from Australia I spent 4 nights in Mountain View Hotel. It was an oasis of fresh air, quietness and beautiful scenery after the dust and noise in Pokhara. The owners were very kind and helpfull and because of the cold we got a hot water bottle to take to bed every night.... More

We were looking to escape the noise and pollution of Kathmandu and in Kakani we found it at the Mountain View Hotel.The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, there was always hot water and the family were just so helpful and obliging.

Traveling Nepal by motorcycle, returning to KTM from Pokhara decided to detour via Kakani. Great diversion if long, via quiet winding rural roads and difficult to navigate but well worth effort as was welcomed warmly by owner into spotless lovely friendly surroundings, also had off street parking for bike. Its a wonderful place to be there.Friendly,peace and family environment of the hotel team made me worth of my wallet.Its a place home away from home.I would suggest you guys to stay a night and feel the atmosphere there.
