I stayed here with my Husband on Friday 4 July. Finding accommodation was difficult with the Tour de France in the area, so I was glad to find somewhere available. I made the reservation by telephone and was quoted £80 for a double room with breakfast. When I asked if we could eat there that evening I was told that... More

Stayed here for two nights last week. We arrived and its a beautiful picturesque building. Our room was adorned with original beams and a very big comfy bed. The bathroom was modern with a shower unit in it. Our room had two sash windows that opened onto the forecourt and let us watch the world go by..... On arrival, we... More

Having stayed here on two previous occasions and raved about it to all our friends we were totally shocked when we arrived here last week. The manager wandered about like fag ash Lil, the paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bedroom, there were no toiletries in bathroom, the b/fast was the worst we have ever had, no comparison... Well what can i say,we had a fun time in Bentham somewhere we would return again. Before going to Bentham i did my homework to find out how many pubs there were and who would be selling the best value food and drink. I found out there were 4 pubs in higher Bentham including the Coach House where we were... More

Had a really nice stay in this delightful former coaching inn in the sleepy village of High Bentham (25 mins off junction 34 M6). Apart from a Coop, Spar, bakers, butchers etc the village does not have many other shops. There are 3 other pubs in the village 2 of which serve food at reasonable prices but beware last orders are... We have just returned from a 2 night stay in The Coach House which we got at a very good price of £79 including afternoon tea. Our first impression was good, the rooms were nice and clean with plenty of storage for your clothes. The car park is a council car park at the rear of the hotel but is... More

I took my mum on a 2 night deal (£89) to The Coach House, which included 2 nights B&B + an afternoon tea. Firstly the location is right on the High St, though the parking is in a free council run car park at the rear of the coach house. The landlord had just taken over & provided an enthusiastic... More

This was a weekend break at the 18th Century Coach House, via a 'Dealmonster' offer of 2 nights B&B and afternoon tea. We thought a real bargain. All the staff were lovely and very obliging, and our room (Whernside)was very clean and comfortable, with a high vaulted beamed ceiling, and nicely furnished. The Inn's interior is rather dark, but it... More

We arrived at the hotel for what was meant to be a lovely break for our anniversary after driving over 200 miles. We checked in to our room we was appalled at the quality of this dingy tiny box room that had no name on the door only fire door where as all other rooms were named. There was no... More
