Stayed here for a weekend break... there really is nothing else to say that isn't covered by the very detailed and accurate review left by another reviewer that has been replied to very rudely by the owner of this establishment. Needless to say I would not recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely not be returning!!

Except your point of mould in the shower and dust on the skirting board, the chamber maid has been informed, as for us wanting you to stay again I think not you are a typical coop meal deal guest who books to stay for two nights then does not speak to anyone, or spend a penny in the bar on... More

Stayed here for three nights. Arrived just before 2 p.m. But could get no reply to locked front or telephoning no. In window. Someone eventually appeared at about 2.15 pm and helped us out and to check in. Turns out it was Connor the chef, who seemed to do a lot More than cheffing. On being shown into our room... More

Just returned from a two night stay here. The pub is very oldie worldy with beams and character. Our room was fine with a big comfy bed plenty of drawers and wardrobe space. It was perfectly clean and the bathroom was lovely with a very powerful shower and plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Breakfast was the usual cereals... More

I would like to thank Darren, Amanda and all the staff for an excellent weekend. We booked our room through a WOWcher deal and needed to discuss our booking with Darren, the owner, (chief cook and bottle washer) and found him to be very approachable and helpful. The parking facilities could be mentioned on their web site, but doesn't take... More

Stayed here this weekend (14 -16 June 2013) as we had brought a Wowcher deal. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and well priced. (I definitely recommend the Belly of Pork). The accommodation was very nice and clean. They had very good entertainment in the evening with a great variety of... More

There are at least three listings for The Coach House on Tripadviser. I would strongly recommend that you read them all before you decide to stay or eat here. I booked a two night B&B deal for here for two people through Wowcher and I can now understand why they are desperate for the business. The Inn is a very... More
