Not the easiest place to find, especially during the recent floods and with roads in the area closed. Once there the hospitality is first class. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom superb, with a brilliant shower. The décor of the pub and dining rooms outstanding, and the food tasty, plentiful and well presented and served. (one small... More

after a nice walk we called into the coach house for drinks, pleasant country style pub with real ales and friendly bar staff. Reasonable prices, looked at the restaurant which looked nice will probably visit that the next time we stay in Bentham. My only criticism was that there was a few locals in with a child that liked running... More

The Inn is located oh the main road through Bentham, with a large general car parking area to the rear. We didn't eat at the Inn due to the restaurant closing early on the evening we stayed (which was a pity because the restaurant is very well appointed). The bedroom was a nice size with a comfy bed and very... More

Stayed in a caravan and walked up to the coach house to eat in the evening. Me and my partners son had the wings and ribs, wow, struggled to finish them, and the night after I had the super burger, but no chance of finishing that. My misses is a veggie, and had loads to choose from on the menu.... More

Very nice place to stay. Lovely room, everything you need, TV, tea & coffee & some nice biscuits. Bed comfy & shower very good. We were in the Whernside room which was at the front of the building. Didn't hear a thing from the bar or people leaving. Great service in the dining room, meal good, breakfast enormous as well... More

We stayed here (3 couples) on the first night of husbands doing the Way of the Roses bike ride. Very nice rooms - clean and comfortable. All the linen etc very high standard. We were there on a Thursday so 2 steaks and bottle of wine for £25. Very good value. Service was very good. Recommended.

We have just returned from a 2 night break in the Coach House Inn, which was very enjoyable. Once we found the car park (round the back through residential streets), the welcome by the guy behind the bar was great - good information, shown to our room promptly. We stayed in Ingleborough, which was over the front of the Inn,... More

We needed somewhere to stay while we did the three peaks challenge and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and cosy and full of character. We arrived at 2030 on a fri night and booked a meal the staff were very attentive and helpful, goood choice of drinks and the manager/owner was always making sure we were happy.... More

Stayed just for the one night, stunning little place. Room was named Whernside, lovely oak beams, great shower, breakfast was amaze balls!! Did not eat evening meal in the restaurant, but menu sounded good, opted for local curry instead. Atmosphere in bar was good, friendly locals. Members of staff were helpful and attentive. Definitely return and recommend.
