I haven't stayed in a caravan for a number of years and I can't tell you how impressed I am by the new generation of caravans, they are like 4* hotels, great facilities, modern, lovely contemporary decor, with proper free standing sofa's, full size fridge freezer, en suite bathroom, great sized shower (my partner is 6'4" and even he thought... This was the 4th time we had stayed at Cockerham Sands Country Park and as always we had a lovely stay. The caravans are always top notch - this time we stayed in the luxury model with full size fridge freezer and fantastic furnishings. As always the caravan was spotless. The Park has a lovely club and had different events... More

We stayed here for the last four nights because it's close to lancaster where I had an interview for university. It was lovely, the caravan was top of the range and had everything you'd need. The club was nice and had the feel of the inside of a golf club. There was plenty of things for children to do. It's... More

Thankyou for taking the time to comment on your recent stay at Cockerham Sands. The outdoor pool opens for the Spring Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May. More

This caravan park is in the middle of no where. We had google maps on our phone and it still took us to the wrong park with the post code being the same for about three other parks in the area nightmare to find especially in the dark with the road to the park being so narrow only fits one... More

In response to this extremely negative review which we we were informed was going to be posted, I am surprised to read the comments regarding the cleanliness of the holiday home that was hired. The reviewer was only the third visitor to the unit as it is brand new and when a member of the housekeeping team spoke to the... More

Stopped for 4 nights over the Easter holidays with my husband and 2 children. The caravan was one of the best we have stayed in with great kitchen appliances especially the full size fridge freezer. However there isnt much to do on site with no children entertainment or facilities. Good place to stay to visit the lakes, Morecambe, Blackpool etc.... More

disturbed by loud music on first night of holiday. had knocks at caravan door on 3 nights by uncontrolled children who stay in permanent caravans, they are not supervised by their ;parents and ruin the holidays for the genuine holiday makers. staff in the office are rude, and the warden does not patrol the site and if he did the... Its what you make of it as I took my family and had no preconceived ideas about this place and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Its out in the sticks and yes the single road up to it is scary especially at night but very quite secluded. Every body was nice and friendly and the whole place... More

Stay here every year with kids and disagree with a lot of comments on here regards to "nothing to do" The park is situated next to beach, make your own entertainment and take your kids walking like we do,instead of sticking them in front of tv or worse still, day time entertainment whilst you drink! As for comments of hazardous drive to park... After hair raising journey along an endless single track road you finally arrive at the caravan site. The sign should say "Welcome to Royston Vasey" all I can say is beware if you are not "local". The majority of the site is obviously owner/occupier so don't expect a warm welcome. The accommodation was of a very good standard, was please... More
