stayed August 2015. What a lovely little Inn. The bedrooms are beautiful as are the bathrooms. All seem to be very individually designed and vary in size. An older Inn which has been totally modernised but still with character and the odd quark to smile about. we stayed in room 3 which is a bit smaller than the photo's show... More

Had lunch here a while ago just got round to the review, the food was very good service too. The decor in this lovely old building is very welcoming. We have not had a chance to go back but certainly will when in the area.

Pretty location, good room, comfy bed, friendly staff, nice home made brownie (chewy inside) to greet you in your room. Tea and coffee making facilities, yummy breakfast. All in all a very good experience and if in the area again would definitely book again

The place was welcoming and friendly, with complementary coffee on arrival much appreciated. The Pub/Hotel is a good example of how to modernize a genuinely old building. Our room was clean, well-equipped with excellent en suite facilities. The evening meal was excellent, with good menu choices and efficient, friendly service. We were puzzled why the evening meal was served in... More

We stopped here for a night on our journey. A delightful Inn to stay for a night or two. Lively Pub (we arrived on a Friday evening - but not disturbing-), very welcoming staff, and really great food!!! Delightful Interior with nice mixture of chic and tradition. A lovely, friedly place to stay (or to have dinner.) And great with... More

We stayed for two nights, Friday/Saturday, we found the Queen's Inn characterful, clean and cosy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We stayed in room 3 which was at the front of the inn. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was of a good quality, also the shower was good. We got some noise from people talking... More

We stayed here for two nights so that my husband could use his birthday experience package at a nearby steam railway. The very traditional, and quite old, building has been modernised in a very stylish way and still keeps lots of character. We were greeted at check-in with free coffee and biscuits in the bar and then, when ready, shown... More

We spent three nights at The Queens Inn, and found it lovely in every way. An alert, good-humor end, obliging staff. Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Easy parking. Convenient to important sites — Sissinghurst Castle Garden, Battle Abbey, Hastings. Appropriate price.

The photos of each room on the hotel's website do not reflect the room itself; and/or are edited. At least this was the case with my room. I stayed in Room 7 and was glad I was on my own - it is very cramped. Although it has a double bed, this room should really be marketed as a single,... More

My husband and I stayed here recently, and what a find! We had a standard which which was really nice and roomy. We had a baby with us and plenty of room for a travel cot. The bed was really comfy and there were lots of nice little extras in the room like big dressing gowns, nice coffee and little... More
