It is a dificult task to beat Well Cottage for the warmth of Liz & Richard's welcome and the standard of their B&B. Certainly worth staying more than one night to visit at least a few of the numerous NT properties & gardens within easy range, not to mention the historic coastal towns. Strongly recommended!

Well Cottage is set in a rural location close to Hawkhurst. My friend and I wanted to visit some National Trust properties, gardens and the coast. Liz and Richard gave us such a friendly welcome, we instantly felt at home! The views from the house - even this early in spring, were really lovely. We slept like babies in the very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was delicious - plenty of choice and all freshly cooked. We would definitely return.
