This was our 2nd time to the farm house . And had a great Xmas there making our own decorations ( limited space in the car with 2 doggies and the farm house doesn't have any )but there is plenty of Holly trees and ferns to make your own It is still a great location and so relaxing, the only... Well, I don't know where to start! I think the title says it all. Without doubt the best holiday I/we(including the 3 dogs) have ever had. Driving down the track to the farm, I was begining to worry, why? Set in 27 acres of its own land, the farm house is in the middle of no-where! No need to panic... More

What a perfect locaton..arrived home only 2 hours ago and already missing the farmhouse and its beauty...lovely walks, weather and drinks on the lawn. Enjoyed many lovely meals at the Penycae at the end of the lane..it never disappointed. Only down side is the farm is starting to look tired inside and out and now needs a good clean and... More

We had a great time lots of exploring to do for us all. The farm was absolutely brilliant location was great and very peaceful. Would be good to have some information on what to do when the water goes off so that you didn't have to wait just to be told to press a button. we left a survey map... More

Thank you for your review. Im glad you liked the Farmhouse - with its seclusion it really is somewhere to get away from the hussle and bussle of life! Im glad you ventured to the Castle, and hope the Ghost Tour was "not too scarey". We look forward to your return. M!chael More

We were a party of 3 adults, 3 children & 2 large dogs. More than enough room for us all. The rooms are massive, the beds are all at least double (with 2 spare single matresses in the bathroom cupboard) and the gardens are endless. I booked this for its old world charm and it did not dissapoint. Utter relaxation,... More

We stayed here last week with family and my partner and our 3 dogs. The house was beautiful and the grounds/views were amazing. The dogs enjoyed long walks and going in the stream at the back of the garden. The house was very dog and people friendly. It was lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of a... More

Im glad you enjoyed both the Farmhouse and the Castle - the food is something that people are finding very good and as your found guests of the Farmhouse are able to use the Castle facilities including the Gym and Hot Tub, the tours and the walks and of course the meals.. so get away from it all at the... Have just got back from a week stay at the farmhouse, what a lovely setting!! We were a grown up family of 5 with 3 dogs.. After an epic 7 hour journey there, thanks to the road works at the m4/m5 interchange, oh and it was bank holiday weekend!! We arrived, after negotiating the track to the farm, ( don't... More

Fantastic and appreciate your comments - it goes without saying that getting away from it all is what the farmhouse is all about. Sadly we cannot help the rain but sometimes it adds to the cosiness of the Farmhouse- and as you say there are plenty of things to do and see. Book up early for next year!!! M!chael More

Stayed for 1 week with family, The farmhouse when we arrived was very clean, ample space. Very quiet. It was nice in the morning when looking out of the windows to see rabbits running round the grounds. You are also very near to the waterfall. The track going down to the farmhouse is very long and bumpy and can be... More

Thank you for your comments - we appreciate feedback from our guests and hope that the mud escapade did not inconvenience you too much. Sadly the Farmhouse is jut that "an authentic farmhouse" situated in lovely and large grounds - but it is down a slightly bumpy track - something that gives it its "real character". We do try and... Great week away for half term, the boys loved it. We did a 4 1/2 mile walk from the backdoor passed Abercraf, and along the river. Then we passed the Ancient Britain, awarded the best Pub in Wales by CAMRA. Could'nt manage all 12 real ales though!
