Our experience at Hotel Central was extremely positive. We were very pleased during our short stay: very clean, comfortable (good bed, excellent ac, excellent shower), good location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend it.

The Hotel Central in Juchitan, was very reasonably priced and immaculately clean. We were there for 5 nights to visit the market for textiles (excellent) and explore locally. We arrived on a 1st class ADO bus after a 5 hour ride from Oaxaca. The ride was comfortable and the scenery between Oaxaca and Juchitan stunning, but those prone to becoming... More

Thank you very much for your comment. We were glad to welcome you to Juchitan. As you said textiles in this area are a living treasure, as well as their many zapotec traditions still alive. We are always happy to share them with our guests. We hope to welcome you again, may be for "Las Velas" in May. More

Like many others, we needed to make a stopover to break our trip and indeed this is a great hotel to stay. What we like: -great comfy king size bed -very clean throughout -strong AC -solid sound proof window. It could be loud outside from the street noise but once you close the window, one can hardly hear any noise... More

Thank you very much for your comment. We are glad that you enjoyed our king size bedroom and services. As well as walking around the market and zocalo and may be even getting to buy some zapotec artcrafts as huipiles, xicalpestles and so. Our staff is always glad to welcome and help our valuable guests. We hope to welcome you... More

best spot to stay in town if your passing through or there for a few days. The room was spotlessly clean and everything was comfortable an functional. The a/c and wireless worked great the staff were friendly and its located very close to the town square and market. One of the best value hotels we stayed at in Mexico.

Thank you very much for your comment. As you said, Juchitan is a strategic stop on the trip from Puerto Escondido or Huatulco Bays or Oaxaca city to San Cristobal de las Casas in Chiapas or vice versa. We are glad to give tourists a nice and quite rest on their long trips. Also for those who want to know... More

We stayed at Hotel Central for one night in May 2013. Great option for an overnight between Oaxaca and San Cristobal. Good location near the central square. Internet café in reception. Quiet and comfortable - great shower and wifi connection.

We needed a place to spend one night to break up our bus trip from Puerto Escondido to Tuxtla Gutierrez and chose Hotel Central. Hotel was in center of town, very clean room, quiet, TV, AC, WiFi and reasonably priced. We left early the next morning so did not get to see too much of town but would stay at... More

The staff are friendly and the rooms clean. The most important aspects of a hotel in my opinion. I was on a long distance bike tour and they were able to store my bicycle securely. From the outside it looks like it may be small but it really opens out when you go upstairs and the rooms are spacious. Very... More

This was a welcome oasis in a bustling, crowded, happy city. Our dogs were able to charm the innkeeper into letting them stay with us in the room. Simple, clean accommodations in a place close to the center of all action. Wifi, cable, hot water.
