Absolutely loved the scenery and the fact that it's located in the same location as Golden Frog Scuba. The hotel is not your average luxury resort but it has the essentials, a premium location in a beautifully land escaped paradise. The management lacks customer service which is sadly common in Panamá. However, you can't beat the location, price and a... More

We spent 2 nights at Coco Plum while diving with Dive Adventure. The hotel is convenient, as the dive shop is right there. The setting is spectacular with a dock set up with shaded lounging where you can watch the sunset, or just sit quietly and read a book. There was free wifi in the room or in the little... More

Not a bad option to sleep overnight outside of Portobello. Rooms are comfortable although they are a bit overly decorated. Nice to have AC in humid, hot Portobello and the dock was a great addition. Cash only, no hot water, no breakfast included, but cheap options.

My friends and I decided at the last minute to stay overnight in Portobelo. We were happy to have a place to stay, so did not expect much. I agree that the cabañas are like a motel and are overly decorated. We paid $75 a night (no breakfast included, but they have delicious option under $6) and you need to... More

We phoned the same day of our arrival, and we needed to arrive before 5pm, as out of season reception closes at that time, and the bar-restaurant maybe a bit later. As other places didn´t reply, we decided to book here for 2 nights, although the woman at the phone sounded very unpleasant. The cabañas are more like a motel,... More

We rented 2 rooms at the hotel, and stayed for 4 days. We came with the family and had a good time there. The hotel does not have a beach per say, but it has a great dock area where you have the best Caribbean view and you can have drinks, eat and watch the sunset. You can also snorkel... More

We stayed there because lonely planet recommend it. We are budget travelers so for 55$ we expect something a little decent. This coco plum was probably the worst place we stayed at during our 3 months central America trip. First of all we are traveling by bus and the Lodge is located a fair bit from Portobelo so already it... More

I have stayed at the Coco Plum with my wife twice. The rooms are decent for the price (US$55) and it is a joy to sit on the dock jutting into the bay and read a book and drink a beer. The first time we stayed there all the light bulbs were 25 watts, making it impossible to read at... More

Review On Coco Plum Eco-Lodge Portobelo, Colon, Rep. Of Panama This cute little place is on the beach, has 12 rooms and when you come out in the back to sit on the beach chairs, it has like a horseshoe effect (all green around it). A snorkeling spot is nearby (in front of a purple house we were told). The... More
