Stayed one night for a nearby wedding. Warm welcome , lovely clean room and fabulous en suite - wish we'd been staying longer! Fantastic provision for food allergy requirements - right down to lactose free spread - never been so well provided for! Would wholeheartedly recommend a stay here.

Stayed overnight for a family wedding and booked one double and a family room. The double room was spacious, clean with a large en suite bathroom. The room had tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was what you would expect from a top hotel with all the small touches, spotless with soft fluffy towels. The family room was as... More

The 2 night stay was a Christmas gift to the in-laws who have high expectations. High Hedges exceeded these expectations and the in-laws said it was the best B&B they had ever stayed in. The property is situated in a quiet village setting and is well appointed with an excellent standard of furnishing and cleanliness. The bedrooms were particularly well... More

We received a warm welcome. The room was excellent, better than many hotels. Breakfast was generous, huge choice and delicious. And we met the lovely labrador - who'd been very quiet despite her young age. Lovely and quiet area. We were on a work trip but a great place to stay for the Henry Moore museum up the road.

Spent a night here in November. Decent room with en suite which was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, and very hearty breakfast. Convenient for Bishops Strotford train station and getting into the City

We only stayed one night but it was the best ever b&b we have ever stayed in. We need to think of another trip so that we can come again. We were visiting the Henry Moore foundation and this accomodation was very close at hand. It was so good to have fresh milk and a comfortable place to sit to... More

Set in idyllic countryside, this is an oasis of calm. The host is welcoming and extremely thoughtful with small touches like fresh flowers, toiletries and plenty of biscuits and sachets of hot drinks. Breakfast was delicious with good quality food and the best fresh fruit salads I have ever had. The room was comfortable and the bathroom had fantastic water... More

A lovely quiet location, beautiful bedroom and bathroom. Better than many 4* hotels. Excellent refreshments in room and lovely breakfast. Host helpful with recommendation of where to eat for dinner. We stayed the night before a wedding and this accommodation was superior to that at the wedding venue the following night. Will certainly try to stay at high hedges again.

Just 1st class on all aspects. Menu for breakfast (I thought I was staying at the Ritz!). Next to half decent pub with some good real ales Yum Yum. Very warm upstairs and the owner kindly opened the windows for me. Brilliant for reptiles mind you!!

We stayed here for one night and it was a very good stay with a superb breakfast. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated with a good bed and great pillows. The bath was amazing - wish I had one like it at home - and filled in a couple of minutes thanks to great water pressure which also... More
