We stayed for 1 night, Paul, the owner couldn't be more helpful, friendly and informative, rooms decorated to a high standard, we stayed in room 8, compact and efficient but a chair and extra pillows would have been nice, but to be fair, if we had asked I'm sure we could have had them! “Another great stay at the Ivy Mount!”

Just returned from another stay at the Ivy Mount. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here and will definately be back. Had a lovely light room, always cleaned to a high standard, delicious breakfast that the owner prepares himself, see you soon Paul

“A very nice place”

Nice guest house. Very peaceful, clean and comfortable. Value for money. Very close to station. We enjoyed good breakfast and excellent service. Paul is one of the best host I know. You will feel as a family member. Lovely place, lovely people.

I don't think I've been to a guest house before where the owner was so friendly or helpful. I had to be at a wedding before the official check-in time and the owner was really helpful when I booked, and then made sure he had the room ready for me before 12 even though I could tell he was busy.... More

Stayed here last night: I wasn't sure of my arrival time so the owner rang me with a code so I could retrieve the key at any time - a good idea. Room was basic, but clean, comfortable and warm and I slept soundly, better than usual as it happens. Breakfast was great and the owner friendly. I will definitely... More

stayed here a few weeks ago and it was definitely the best choice i could of made. Paul went out of his way and nothing was to much bother. i felt really at home here and will be staying here again on any further trips i make to manchester. thanks paul your a star

I recently stayed at the ivy mount guest house and was pleased with my stay. I felt very welcomed and as I could not check in until late evening, Paul the owner was kind enough to put the key to my room in a safe box on the porch area of the house which was safe and easy to access.... More

I stayed at Ivy Mount while my son was in Salford Royal following an operation. The close location to the hospital and the support of Paul made a difficult and stressful time so much easier. My Mother and two sisters also travelled to visit my son and Paul went out of his way to accomodate them. I would recommend Ivy... More

A Lovely family atmosphere and a very comfortable stay. We went to Manchester to visit our Grandson who has recently moved there for work.
