What a beautiful guesthouse. Our room was huge - two floors, the first for lounging and showering, the second for the bedroom. The private covered deck right outside our door was secluded and enormous, and the grounds were lush. This little secret hideaway is clean, well appointed, and as friendly as can be. We met new friends and really enjoyed... More

Amber Gardens is a gorgeous guest house!.... Andy and Stuart, the lovely couple who run this fantastic place have exquisite taste. The Guesthouse is beautiful and immaculate, it has stunning gardens and almost everything you could wish for from a wide selection of DVDs and books to a BBQ in the gardens next to the pool. It’s the perfect place... More

We spent 2 nights in this bed and breakfast accomodation. The house is not in Byron Bay itself, so you need to drive to the beach/restaurants/city, but at least you get peace and quiet in this small hamlet (Ewingsdale). The owners are genuinely nice and very helpful, doing their best to make your stay even smoother and more enjoyable. The... More

I am going to recommend this guesthouse to my friends. The house was immaculate, the hosts friendly, and we felt very welcome.

I stayed for 2 nights in November while attending a birthday celebration in nearby Byron Bay. The name “Amber Gardens Guest House” only partly tells the story. Yes it is set in beautiful gardens. My room had a terrace that overlooked flowering trees and a grass field with cows. Very restful to look out when you woke up to the... More

We only stayed a night, pity saturday night there was no vacancy. Nicely manicured garden, love the fruit trees (I picked one orange by the way), beatifully done room and very friendly host. Nice little pool, but did not try the spa.

My wife and I stayed at the Amber Garden B&B for two nights at the end of Aug 09 whilst visiting Byron Bay. We found the hosts Stewart and Andy exstremely pleasent, friendly and helpful. Location wise you are a 10 minute drive to Byron town, set in a beautiful wooded area which was amazingly quiet and peaceful. The rooms... More

This superb guesthouse is located 5-10mins away from Byron in some wonderfull garden surrounds. It means you wil need a car to get there and around. The house is beautifull and the pool and spa tub on the decking add great touches. You will be looked after by Andy and Stuart with a plentifull continental breakfast in the morining, as... More

Even before we got off the car, we enjoyed brilliant service. Stuart advised us to drive easy on the road because of the major potholes caused by the rain. Andy helped with our bags and told us about the hot spots as soon as we arrived. We were also advised of what places were the best to eat and told... More

Great quiet place, beautiful gardens owned by gay couple. Nice setting for the swimming pool. Away from everything, need a car so allow 15 minutes by car to get into Byron Bay itself. The owners don`t interact much (except for the blonde one) . The larger (more expensive) room seems great but the other smaller ones let the noise between... More
