Fantastic food, fast service. Paul was great to us and we will 100% be coming back. They have a massive garden and there are 100s of acres to explore in the village of Sulgrave. The rooms are cosy and warm and there is wifi in case anyone is worried about being shut off.

Really nice owners, who have run this place for around 30 years. Some quirky décor touches, good selection of ales and superb food. Welcomed with tea and coffee on arrival, helpful and attentive hosts, a great place to stay for a night or two, as an excellent value B&B and restaurant

I can't recommend the Star Inn enough! 9 of us stayed for my birthday and Paul opened up the restaurant and bar especially for us. The food was absolutely delicious with brilliant service. The rooms were extremely comfortable with plenty of room for the family. Will be going back in the new year! Thanks Paul!

The Star is a funny place but it's hard not to have a warm feeling as you leave. The rooms and bathrooms hark back to the 70's with twin bar fires, ancient light fittings and bathroom fixtures. However, supper in the old bar and breakfast in the family kitchen are superb and the couple running it who are charming, warm... More

Shame, but my wife just doesnt like Dogs.Bitten twice in separate incidents as a child and never taken to them so a little nervous with the harmless looking resident dog wandering around but its still a Dog to her.I personally dont like to see any animals wondering around in a place where you eat or in a restaurant anyway !!... What a fantastic place to stay!!!! I highly recommend anyone to stay here. The food is great, the beer is awesome (especially Hooky) and the rooms are clean and bright. Paul and Sue are fantastic hosts and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting. Thanks guys, we will be back.

Where do I start when writing my review of The Star Inn? What a little treasure it is. Calm, peaceful, relaxed, comfortable and much much more. The hosts are a delightful charming couple and just could not do enough to ensure our comfort. The Inn itself is a museum in it's own right, and (I was told) with it's very... More

In a remote country village it was nice to find a cosy little pub,the food was of a good standard particularely liked the fish and chips served with mushy peas served in a tiny Le Creuset pot. The host is rather bohemian looking but was the perfect host

They could not do enough to accommodate us at the Star Inn. Which room would suit you best? An extra bed? An Iron? Sticking around to feed you a little later than we would normally? What time for breakfast? Nothing is too much trouble for this lovely couple running a quaint, quintessentially English, village B&B that doubles as a gorgeous... More
