We stayed there in July. We read all the reviews. We had the right expectations. This was camping. We understood what we were signing up for. We loved the beach, the staff, the restaurant was a bit pricey but so what. We had to keep everything in the fridge but again were ok with that. Sometimes the bathroom did not... More

We had a great time in Mexico! We didn't want to spend a ton of time in Cabo, so as mentioned, we headed out about 1 1/2 from the city proper to stay at the Mayan Village (next to Cerritos Surf Colony). Mayan Village consists of about 10 huts on the beach. The huts consist of a bed, two night... More

Call it exotic camping on the beach. The hut in which you stay is very rustic. Made of palms and a concrete slab. But I loved how simple it was. Just a few lights, a fridge and a bed. Do make sure you have a mosquito net for your bed though. We didn't have one for the trip which was... More

We bought our stay at the Mayan Village from the Clymb and it seemed like an awesome deal. We reviewed the website (which is constantly down) several times to make sure we had all the right things we would need. The website makes it appear to be somewhat resort like.. it is not. The website makes it seem like Mayan... More

Mayan Village Resort and Cerritos Surf Colony was developed and owned by Mr. Roger Pollock from Oregon, United States. His biography can be googled and found on Linked-In, FaceBook, newspapers such as the Oregon Clinic and other social media. I bought a voucher from "your best deal" and it stated " transfer to resort included ". I was unable to... More

We spent a week at the Mayan Village Resort and it was wonderful! The “resort,” is comprised of a cluster of 12 or so palm frond cabanas (many of which are essentially on the beach), a small pool, and men’s and women’s bathrooms. If you are looking for a real resort experience, this is not the place for you, but... More

I booked a trip here via TheClymb.com for $279. Good deal, but I cannot go back to this area of Mexico again. I was there in December and the air quality was so poor due to the burning of debris from the recent hurricane that I was coughing like I had bronchitis and my doctor won't let me go back.... More

We're very sorry that you didn't completely enjoy your stay with us, and especially that you stayed while we were still recovering from the hurricane. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds on voucher purchased through 3rd party sites, which is why we couldn't help you out in that regard. We hope that you can give us another chance in the future,... More

I stayed here during off season with my 3 girlfriends and had a wonderful time! The Mayan is very close to Cabo, Todo Santos and La Paz (which is a must see). You step out of your huts and you are on the beach! Falling asleep to the sound of waves is just one of the many perks to this... More

Loved this place, but stayed during the off-season. I meant to stay during this time of year in order to relax and steer clear of the crowds. I got exactly what I wanted with one or two exceptions. The first exception was the amount of bugs. They were mainly outside the hut, however a beetle or two and some mosquitos... More

My boyfriend and I just returned from staying six nights at the Mayan Village Resort. We used a voucher purchased through Groupon for $289. What a steal! We got our passports (first real time out of the country for both of us), found cheap airfare, and proceeded to grow increasingly more and more excited as the months flew by and... More
