Last week, my husband and I stayed at Lindors. It was our 4th visit but the first time self-catering in a lodge. This time we had 2 of our grandsons with us, one aged 11 and the other, 8. It was a family week and the children’s hosts, David and Ellie, were excellent in every way. They had their own... More

I like this house hotel. It is exceptionally peaceful and has beautiful gardens, that are well looked after. Ask for a room overlooking the garden as the views and these particular rooms are very large and have amazing views. The wooden self catering chalets are excellent and provide a private secluded stay very close to the lovely indoor swimming pool.... More

Spent 2 days in this lovely hotel tucked away in the countryside. A christian hotel which is olde worldly with excellent rooms good food and friendly staff. If you wish to get away from everywhere this is an ideal place to stay in lovely grounds with lovely walks etc.

Like some other reviewers I had no idea when I booked Lindors that this was a christian conference centre and hotel. In fairness, having googled, it is quite easy to find this out, but if you book through booking.com it is not clear at all. I have no objections to hotels that are run on these lines but would I... Traffic noise was non-existent. This hotel is set in its own large grounds with only waterfalls heard from the house. Although Wi-Fi was only available on the ground floor by reception our room and I understand the other rooms also had an Ethernet socket next to the room phone. This provided a reliable connection to the internet day and night.... More

We booked four nights in one of the Lodges as a base to travel around the Wye Valley The staff were welcoming and our key was available immediately ,the lodge was a little compact but clean and tidy and more than adequate for our needs, parking directly outside. The grounds are lovely, tennis courts a little jaded but useable and the bowling... More

Country house in beautiful peaceful location, with pool, croquet lawn etc. and wood panelled public rooms. My bedroom was newly refurbished, very clean, nicely done in taupes and creams. Very comfortable with free wifi ;-) and TV plus cd player in the room. A very pleasant surprise, I could not have wanted much better. The corridors and staircases do look... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and our children really enjoyed the outdoors facilities.(swimming pool was well used!) The food is very traditional and of high quality, with focus on using local produce. Overall a very pleasant experience.

There are a number of very nice, small hotels in the Wye Valley - this isn't one of them. I chose this hotel because the building and grounds looked interesting and there was a good discount offered. The room smelt musty and the bed was ancient and uncomfortable , although the shower/ bathroom room seemed newer and was fine. What... More
