Great food and the pine lodges where great. There was a really good chef there. A new one and he was really nice. He would also make very good quality meals. The pine lodges where Aldo great. They where really comfortable aswell.

A pleasurable stay in one of the cabins on this amazing estate set in the Forest of Dean. Cabins were finished to the highest quality and were a real home from home. Food served was also of the highest quality and tasted wonderful. Looking forward to returning for a proper personal break in the near future.

I am a member of their swimming pool club. This means that I can use their pool daily. In fact I usually go once a week. It is a lovely little pool and always warm. I often have coffee in the hotel and find the whole reception area extremely comfortable. The staff are all friendly and the manager charming

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Rooms are spotless and well stocked with toiletries, tea and coffee and bottled water. You can hear the nearby river at night but it added to the tranquil and relaxing feel of the area. Great location if you like country walks, Offa's Dyke trail is very close by.

We took our youngest son for a few days break. The hotel was short of rooms so we took a lodge for the four nights. Very quiet and warm and everything worked. Had breakfast and dinner in the house. Choice and quality of food was excellent. Having enquired of the hotel about local rock climbing leaders, we booked and had... More

Booking last minute via the internet, we took a punt on this hotel being something of a hidden gem. We were looking for a bit of glam on the cheap, in the form of a beautiful country getaway with a heated pool and stunning gardens. Well, it is a beautiful building, it does have a (very good) heated pool, and... More

It's not really a top country manor hotel, bits of it are rather youth hostel like, but it has a fab pool, is surrounded by lovely gardens, tennis, croquet and other games are available, and breakfast was good. Staffing rather mixed, sat breakfast well organised, sunday staff were hopeless. Our room, whilst OK, was nothing special. It is part of... More

We have been twice recently to Lindors: once for a superb afternoon tea another time for lunch. the staff don't seem to sure of their roles but the waitress was a star and did everything she could to ensure we had food to suit us and were happy with everything. The food was os a good average standard and fairly... More

We stayed here for one night, we got a late deal on the Internet. The building is beautiful as are the grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful. However the condition of the room was not to a high standard at all. We put our stuff in our room and then went out to Monmouth, there was a strong smell of... More

Arrived at 5PM after a 5 hour drive with 3 young exhausted children to be told that the restaurant was fully booked for that evening. The receptionist was very unhelpful, made no apology for this and made no attempt to offer us an alternative to dining in the restaurant (surely the kitchen was sufficiently stocked to be able to offer...
